Having now worn these boots several times, I feel that I have an ability to speak fairly about them. In summary, these are nice boots. But, you must understand what it is you are ordering. These boots ARE NOT LEATHER… if you are under the impression AT ALL that that is the case, let me clarify: these boots are “VEGAN” leather… ie: they’re plastic. Now, the maker does claim to use recycled materials on this product, as well as other measures that make the boot less damaging to the environment, and that it important for some people. These boots have a wide-calf fit, which also makes for an overall wider fit in the toe box, in my experience. When wearing them, today, I wore an appropriate length of sock for wear with a boot, but it was more on the “dress sock” side than the “boot/work boot” site, and it allowed for a lot of movement/near sliding of my foot during the wear. I do plan on trying a true “boot sock” to see if that will help. The deep brown/black combination of coloring in the boot is quite nice. The brown is a deep chocolate color. It makes for a pleasing wear. However, these boots do scuff easily, as seen in my attached pictures. While the wear on the boot might actually make it look more “rough and tumble” for this style of boot, if a “clean” boot is what you want, then think twice, as these will scuff. The wear of these boots was comfortable. I’ve worn them all day without issue. They can be a little heavy, but not more so than many other boots. It’s hard to say if these are a good value for your money, as that is a question with many answers… Truly, they’re a good value if you love them and would wear them all of the time… Then, cost per wear decreases. If not, then it’s not a good value. You know how you will wear these, and whether or not it would make a good purchase for yourself.

The media could not be loaded. Okay, I get the hype now. These are the Frye dupe boots everyone’s been talking about and they really do give that effortless, cool-girl Western vibe. The leather look is gorgeous, the shape is flattering, and they’re surprisingly comfortable I wore them all day and didn’t think about my feet once. They instantly make a simple outfit look intentional. Shorts, dresses, jeans… they just work. True to size. If you’ve been eyeing the expensive version, try these first. 🤠✨

These boots are decent. Fit as described and comfy and the color is accurate too, but don’t get your hopes up with the promo images—these here are clearly different boots of lesser quality and are not a good Frye dupe. They are not nice and stiff like real leather but bunch up making them look cheap. They might have been worth the $40 I initially paid for them but certainly not more.
