I thought I was buying 3-ply (don't ask). I even thought it was 3-ply until I looked at the box where it prominently says 1-ply. Well, as someone who usually insists on 2-ply at minimum, I was surprised at the thickness and durability of this 1-ply. Highly recommend. Will buy again.
