I was so impressed with these duvet covers and shams that I immediately decided to remove the antique quilts from the beds for winter! I ordered the duvet covers simply to cover the goose down comforters I offered for those sleeping in this lower level bedroom. The only heat for the walkout suite is a fireplace in the living/kitchen area. Since we are in a warmer climate, really all that is necessary unless it gets really cold. Then, it is nice to have something extra on the beds. I ordered these two sets because I liked the underside of the duvet. The small print and color were great for the room. I am also impressed on how soft and easy they are to launder. A simple steam of the creases and they were bed ready. Perfect duvets and much too cute to leave in the closet until needed.
