Lets just say i totally took the time to write this review only it was on the wrong product..pfffff! Anyways here's the shorter version haha. Where to start... first off lets just say the price is a steal! Two panels for nearly 30$ WOW. Especially in this material. I paid nearly 80$ each for 4 panels from ikea just like these a few years ago. Never again after finding these gems. They are just as good if not better than my ikea dark grey ones. Second they are true white, not a creamy or yellowish color. That was important because i knew i wanted WHITE. I also knew it needed to be the perfect kind of curtain, the right material/fabric that wouldn't block too much sun, making the room feel depressing and crammed. But also at the same time block enough sun during the day to fall asleep on our sectional. Which my boyfriend and I do ALOT. I live downtown Portland in a 1 bedroom apartment so its pretty tiny, nothing spacious so I knew I wanted the curtains to be lighter and brighter giving the room a bigger feel. Even if they were closed. So blackout curtains i knew would be too thick, and I also knew i wanted to layer it with the ikea sheer net panels so id have extra help with that sun when we want to rest our eyes during the day. Well i took a chance on these and unbeknownst to me they were a hit!!! Im so happy with my purchase its been 2 years and they still going strong! Best thing about white also is they will match with anything really, so moving and redecorating wont make me have to purchase another set. Awesome! Just look at them they totally transform the look and feel to my apartment, my WHOLE apartment. During twilight is my fav hour to have em' half open the sunsets are gorgeous with these no joke! These are the only windows in my place so alot of my lighting comes from the natural sunlight. Hence why i wanted them to be just right, so I can control amount of sun/privacy depending on what hour of day and activity going on. These fit all my criteria perfectly! Last but not least they are long enough for my place to reach from floor to ceiling with shrinkage room(I ordered the white 96") in case errors occur while washing(which i haven't had yet). Get these curtains you wont be disappointed the price and quality, you cant find anything better here on amazon honestly... I've looked trust me! ha. If you are anything like me and spend days even weeks searching and weighing of options before making a final choice, then choose these. Stop searching. If you need all cotton/linen curtains specifically white, these are the solution, the answer to all your problems haha seriously though curtains are like the icing on the cake. The simple touch that is it but they add such beauty to a room. You gotta have em' but do em' right. I constantly see people hang them incorrectly. Not far out enough and not close enough to ceiling...unfortunate lol. Let me add that if you do wash em' and the end result isn't what you wanted thats on you. You should know the risks of washing an all cotton curtain. You knew what you were buying and the possible risks that could come when washing instead of dry cleaning; that is not the manufacturers fault, it is your fault. Just saying. So with that said I didn't dock any stars when rating. I wish i could give it 10 stars! Good job amazon and whoever made this product the vendor whoever! Im so happy with it thank you, this is why I shop here on amazon for quality products at a cheap price. Not cheap products at a cheap price! Hope this helps! ... show more

These are very nice quality. Beautiful weave and bright white color. They filter the light but provide privacy. I did iron them before hanging them as they had some folds, but they ironed nicely.

I love these curtains and ordered two sets. I only needed 84 inch but based on other reviews I ordered the 96 inch and I'm glad I did. I'd prefer to have some drape on the floor or hang my curtain rod higher - rather than have high water curtains! I measured the curtains before and after washing and they did shrink 3 inches in length. (I did wash them in hot water and a hot dryer so I would expect some shrinking from any 100% cotton item with that treatment) Everything else about the curtains is perfect and very well made. I love the pleating that the back tabs create. It looks elegant and much more expensive than they are. These are thick curtains and I expect them to last for a long time. Yes, you will need to steam or iron them after washing, as with any 100% cotton item. I have not steamed them yet and they look fine but I will do so before having company over. I love how they brightened up my very dark living room! They let in nice soft light without being sheer. Well worth the price point if you can handle the shrinkage. I took off one star because it would obviously be better if the material was pre-shrunk before being cut to length. ... show more

These curtains are just what I was looking for. I needed a temporary solution to a built in closet that has some doors on order that will take several months to arrive. I wanted something 100% cotton and nice looking at an inexpensive price point because I'm not sure where I will put these after the doors arrive. I'm very pleased with the quality (though I would not say they are heavy cotton duck fabric, but more lightweight fabric.) and the true to size length and width. If you are using these for actual curtains, they will probably be very light filtering (not blocking) and possibly sheer at night. But, they are nicely made without any kind of wonky stitching or loose threads. ... show more

These curtains are beautiful. The great reviews are genuine. I've been a darker curtain with liner for privacy and insulation shopper/buyer for all the years I have covered my/our windows. Now retired and having to be in a house more hours than not I can't stand the darkness. Hate it actually. White curtains, I never owned and when I was searching for this type of curtain it was the only color I could find. I was going to try to dye them and was afraid of the risk of a 20% shrinkage as the web states if using recommended hot water. I looked into staining them with coffee and was about to try this using cold water until I found this similiar curtain in a natural linen color. They did cost $6 more but that would be about the cost to add a dye possibly and a lot cheaper than having to do my entire room over. These curtains let in a great amount of light while providing privacy. I couldn't believe how much the white color can brighten a room. Even on a cloud covered sun kind of day on the north side facing window, the light bounces off the walls. The natural linen version really doesn't do the same but still much better than the type of curtain I was always drawn to previously. I have absolutely nothing white in the room I hung these curtains. I was not too eager to buy another bedspread (especially in white) when I have two I love and a another bedskirt. I'm sure my decor could have stayed as is without making any changes but it really bothered me. White matches everything and so do my beige color fabrics but it really really didn't blend together as I like. I also thought the chance of the white getting dirty or maybe even yellowing was a higher risk. I am happy with the linen color and if I ever decide to go white I would definitely buy these again. ... show more
