Review after 3 months use: If you like this style of towel (terry checkerboard), this is a very good towel. I love this style because it's not too thick (so it'll dry more quickly), and even though the cotton is soft, you still get some texture as you rub yourself dry. The bath towel was larger than my previous, and is effectively even larger because it doesn't have a decorative striping pattern at the ends - the whole towel is usable and absorbent, which looked weird to me at first but now I love it. After several wash/dry cycles (so any shrinkage should be shrunk) it measures 30"x54". The hand towel seems the right size, and the washcloth seems slightly small (compared to my previous set). After 4-5 wash/dry cycles it gives off only a very small amount of lint. I'd call it comparable in that sense to other towels I've owned. I wish there were more colors available. I bought "linen" because it was the lightest non-white color, and it is fine, but having a light gray, a light blue, a light green available would have been preferable. The towels have been colorfast over three months, so I didn't run into the spotty dye issue other reviewers have noted. Hopefully that was just a bad dye lot that has been corrected. I'm very happy, would buy again, though hopefully not for many years if these wear well.

So, no joke, these are the best towels that I have ever owned and I’ve been around for a long time! They are huge and the thickness is perfect. I’m not fond of super thick towels. These are mid weight. They wash well and I have experienced no problems with them shedding or pilling. Most importantly, these are the only towels I have ever owned that actually dry you instead of just pushing water around!! So far, I have purchased two sets and wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to get more! They are a bit pricey, but well worth it!!

These towels are great. They’re affordable and feel nice. They don’t shed when you’re using them but make a good bit of lint in the dryer the first few times you wash them. They’re lightweight but hold up nicely.

I don't have a Norwex connection anymore so I've been looking for something to replace those towels. Finally looked into waffle weave. These were washed before use. I don't use fabric softener for my towels, it can affect absorbency over time. How do they feel? They are *not* soft and fluffy. It'll take off whatever dead skin gets left behind after your shower. If you are particularly sensitive, it may be uncomfortable. How well does it dry a wet body? Much better than a regular terrycloth towel. Significantly better. I would even say almost as well as my Norwex towels. How quickly does it dry after use? My bathroom is not well ventilated, but this towel dries pretty quickly. And so far it's not getting the musty smell from being damp too long. The material makes a difference for drying. I have microfiber waffle weave towels and they are no more effective than cotton terrycloth, with the added bonus of feeling "icky." If you're looking for a soft, fluffy, cozy towel, this isn't it. It's a little rough but it does exactly what I need it to do and it does it well.

Well made, wash up well, didn't shrink. I don't like a towel that is too soft as I find them non-absorbent. These are just soft enough but still absorb water very well. Great price, too.

Bought the waffle towels (grey) back in fall 2023 for the advertised low amount of lint and fast drying. Initially they had some lint but after using a lint roller a couple of times after washing, the shedding stopped. Still to this day they don't have any issues with lint or shedding. 5/5 for the grey set. Recently bought a second set (black) and it has not stopped shedding. They've been washed and lint rolled countless times this past month but nothing helped. I also notice the second set already has threads coming loose while my original set has one loose thread. 1/5 for the new black set.
