I’ve had mine since Christmas and even though I have a duvet cover and sprayed my room I still smell feathers. So if you like the small birds, it’s fine, but if you don’t, your room is gonna smell smelly birds lol. For what I paid on sale, it is worth the price. It is the perfect size. I have a king bed and ordered the oversize king 116x98 and it over hangs but isn't too long. It fluffed out pretty fast after opening but wasn't as fluffy as I wanted but much fluffier than the last one I got. No weird smells, no feathers poking out. It is however very warm. This such a great comforter for the price point. It is $30 off now - you can not beat the price for a down comforter. To me Cal King is the perfect size for a King mattress. It's the perfect weight. Some people have mentioned it smells like birds?? I have a sensitive smell and I don't smell any of that. I would disregard those comments. I bought an allergen insert to go over the down quilt and keep feathers contained down the road. Its not my first down comforter - sometimes it happens. Highly recommend this product! ... show more

It’s pretty good quality for the price but it sheds . I got this to replace my comforter of 4 heads because it was shedding too due to usage. I bought this comforter and it began shedding within a month. Not just feathers but micro feathers you inhale and have to blow out of your nose!
