Some of the negative reviews mentioned that it's noisy. I found it to be very soft, quiet and comfortable. I was impressed that it actually fit our queen size bed perfectly. It covers the bed with about a foot overhang on both sides. Also, it's long enough to touch the headboard but still have about 18 inches overhang at the foot of the bed. First off, I'd like cordially critique those who say this is too thin. Chances are they haven't slept with it on yet or they've never had a down comforter before. Feathers compact, it doesn't take much to trap in heat. You are supposed to let it sit and fluff before use then re-fluff daily. With that being said, the all-season is perfect for us in SoCal. Soooo warm and cozy, but not heavy or too hot. Ventilates well, doesn't slip around. The sound to us is very comforting- makes us feel like we are in a luxurious bed! We do have a duvet cover on to protect, especially since we have a pup. And for this being a regular queen size (not oversized), it's plenty big! No complaints. Super happy - so happy, it's hard to get out of bed! ... show more

The outer material is a little stiff, crinkly, and fragile so it doesn't perform well on its own. If you're putting this comforter in a nice duvet its perfect!

TLDR: Washed it and came out fluffy- I like it! What I was looking for: -under $80 -twin blanket for mild winters -feather and goose; no poly fill -cotten shell; not polyester -not too light but not too heavy; had looked at others 3, 5, or 7 lbs -something that washes well What I think: -got it for under $60, not bad for 5lbs of blanket warmth -it super cozy, fluffy, comforting, but a little crinkly, but the sounds gets muffled with the duvet cover -could've gone cheaper but others were polyester and only 3 lbs heavy -could've gone heavier but it was and extra $20 for a 7lb blanket and that might be too warm for our needs and above budget -washed it right away and tumbled dry on air for about 60 minutes with dryer balls and it was super fluffy and cozy -it doesn't have ties or loops, but I can add those myself ... show more

first things first: yes, it’s noisy. if you have had a down/feather comforter before, you know this! if you’re jumping to a feather comforter after years of microfiber and polyester filled comforters, then yes, it’s a giant leap in terms of sound. that said- it doesn’t bother me at all. it’s not deafening or anything, more of a gentle crinkle when you reposition it. if that really Really ends up bothering you, know that it’ll soften both with use & in the wash. i haven’t washed mine yet but i did throw it in the dryer with some dryer balls and it came out slightly softer and also, remarkably fluffy. so let’s get on to the fluff of it all. this comforter is mostly feathers, with a bit of down. feathers are heavy and add bulk to the comforter, where down is ultra light and adds fluff. this comforter has been vacuum packed for who-knows-how-long, so of course when you get it and open it, it’s going to be flatter than the devil. to make a down/feather comforter get to that poofy fluffy look that we want so much, there has to be air between those down feathers. so give it time. what i personally did was i whipped it around a bit to reposition the innards, and let it sit for an hour. then, i tossed it in the dryer on NO HEAT with a few of those dryer balls. it came out fluffed beyond belief. ymmv, because i got the heavyweight king (if you’re getting lightweight/all season, the inner fill may not be as lofty as a winter weight one). the color is an off white, not a blinding bright white. i prefer the off white so this was a win for me. my condolences to those who were not as thrilled. it’s breathable enough to not feel like i’m in a sauna, but warm and heavy enough to feel soooo comfortable. i don’t know how it’ll be in the summer, because i live in florida, but for now (it’s quite cold here in florida!) it’s doing great. it’s also very heavy! about ten pounds. it doesn’t have that weighted blanket feel, but it’s able to sorta conform to your body shape if that’s something you want. again, it was something i wanted, so that’s another win for me! all in all, 10/10. i’m using it without a duvet cover because i like to live dangerously, and the night i got it, i slept literally 13 hours. get this one. ... show more

    • Noisy, but nice
I have had this for 2 months now and I think it is worth the money. As other reviewers said, it is noisy. It makes noise when moved around, but I've either gotten used to is or it has softened. It is warm and very comforting.

Good quality workmanship. Not so soft or silent but a good duvet should take care of that I do like the fact that it’s heavy warm very comfortable and breathable great night sleep for the price I would recommend
