Superb washing machine! Like many have commented, these portable dual tub washing machines are phenomenal!!! I'm truly a BELIEVER now! We have a flooding issue or problem (have had for years now, in our home of 36 years), and during the recent onslaught on relentless bouts of "heavy rain, repeated rain, unstoppable rain and flooding," in our city, of San Antonio, Texas, back in May, June, and parts of July our washroom, not to mention, the REST of our entire property: front yard, back yard, side, you name it, kept flooding!!! Well, unfortunately, the flooding in the washroom ruined our good, but "used" set of washer and dryer, and likely (hasn't been fully analyzed yet), gas water heater! We'll see... Anyway, I was desperate, originally thought of looking for "apartment-style" stackables, to replace these, and "somehow," operate at least the washer inside our home (which the main part of our home is on a "pier and beam" foundation), hang clothes outside, the washroom (built much later, house is 1949), and the enclosed "carport room," which serves as a multipurpose room: office, small storage area, etc. are both on a significantly "lower," SLAB foundation, this is the culprit! I kid you NOT, this compact, very modern, lightweight I might add, "camping, portable type washer" works like a charm! First off, the agitator, is totally high-tech, modern, incredibly "innovative," as it does NOT have a typical, traditional, "long-nose" stem, if you will, type agitator, to mix and wash the clothes. Instead, it has been designed with a "fan-like" blade or mechanism at the bottom, which I must say... is totally, "fully," SUPERIOR! It really, really, REALLY spins or mixes the clothing, getting them extremely CLEAN! I've never LOVED or had so much fun, washing clothes, never been so satisfied and happy! Even, beats the heck out of "front loaders," these are powerfully modern, nothing like it before! Only tiny issue is they are not fully automatic, you must set each dial to go from washing, to then draining, to then spinning, in the second, "separate" tub, next door. But "spin cycle" is only 5 minutes, works great, you can even reset it for a second cycle, but I've found that 99% of the time, it's not necessary! Just make sure, you evenly place the clothes in the spin tub, place "spin disc" inside, you've got to slightly bend it up or down to do so, but it rests on top to keep the clothing secure, etc. If you want to rinse with a fabric softener, you must drain the load first, then refill, add your FS, set to wash as desired, drain again (you can even reset timers or allow the loads to soak longer for deeper freshness, etc.), YOU control the CYCLE time frame, if you will, another words. Takes just a couple of times to get the hang of it! The owner's manual, is "super brief," very image conscious, self-explanatory, in English and French only, but doesn't fully nor accurately "explain" the purpose of the little metal clamp with "yellow" plastic and metal, "screw type" thingee, it's labeled letter "Q" Pipe Strap, I think it might attach to drain pipe at the bottom of the machine where the drain pipe "exits" the washing machine... I'm going to attempt "again" to attach it, but I need help, please have CostWay's customer service correct this in the owner's manual, and in the "online" product information, or on the product page! So far, I've been operating it without the clamp, and no "accidents" so far, but I'm beginning to THINK, that it needs proper "attachment or placement," in order to prevent a "water/electrical" accident on the floor from occurring, so have a large, absorbent bath towel handy at ALL times, to quickly wipe up accidental spills or "escapes" of draining water (which may not be prone to happen outdoors, depending on machine elevation or lack of, but inside one must be cautious!), etc. Last thing to comment on: The fill hose is a "little/sightly" thin in material or flimsy (particularly for such a high quality machine, the hoses could be thicker, stronger, mold or mildew resistant, just better quality, and LONGER, they are a bit shy...) and one must unscrew the filter "thingee" hardware piece, from the kitchen sink, or other sink, in order to get the hose to "insert" inside the faucet, fill the machine, I usually hold it taught, though some water does escape, which I allow to run into a very flexible, "collapsible" bucket I place in my kitchen sink to catch the "run off," then I just add that water to the "machine tub," so as not to waste a drop! Many people have mentioned using it in the RR tub (even purchasers of other brands or models), or bathtub, but the instructions explicitly warn NOT to do so! It can RUIN the unit with moisture, so I advise "DON'T DO IT!!!" Overall, excellent, amazing, amazing, AMAZING portable, camping, travel-type washing machine! Five, I mean (5) Stars*****

I've been very happy with this portable washing machine. It’s compact enough to fit in a small apartment, yet it has enough capacity to handle several days’ worth of clothes at a time. The wash cycle does a great job removing dirt and odors, and the spin function extracts most of the water, which significantly reduces drying time. Setup was simple, and the machine is easy to move and store when not in use. It’s also much quieter than I expected, although the spin cycle can be a little noisy if the load isn't balanced properly. For best results, I try to wash items of similar weight together. One of the biggest advantages is the money and time it saves compared to going to a laundromat. It uses less water and electricity than a traditional washer, making it a practical option for apartments, RVs, dorms, or small living spaces. Overall, this portable washer is reliable, efficient, and convenient. Just went to use my new washer for the first time. It turns on but the agitator does not spin. I hear the motor but nothing happens. Now I’m 62 years old. I can just chuck it in my car and take it to be returned. Now I’m out $200 with no recourse. I would have given zero stars if I could have. Guess I’m screwed. DO NOT BUY!!!!!👏😡 Good: they sent me a replacement and had the broken one picked up. BAD: after using for 3 months, it too has stopped working. Same issue-motor runs but the agitator does not move. It’s like it’s seized up. I’m over this. Contacting the seller and getting my money back. I’m not willing to see if the third time is the charm. The seller, Amazon, is refusing to allow me to return this piece of junk because it's past the return cut-off date. I guess it doesn't matter that it only worked for 3 months. So basically, I rented it for around $66/month. Unacceptable. No, I didn't purchase the warranty, I never do for anything and have never had an issue. But nothing changes the fact that it should have lasted longer than 3 months. A basic included warranty will normally be for longer and I will look further into that aspect. Amazon just doesn't want to deal with it again even though none of these issues were my fault. Just a frustrating, disappointing situation all the way around. Maybe next time I'll purchase directly from the store, Costway, that sold it to Amazon and Amazon can shove it. UPDATE: just chatted with Amazon about this issue. Long story short, they are giving me a full refund and I don’t have to return the defective machine. It is so refreshing to see a company stand behind their products and treat their customers right. Still not going to buy the machine again ;).

Powerful little machine

Received yesterday and have run 2 small loads and am very pleased. Powerful wash and spinning actions get the job done. I will do smallish loads only because I like to see the items moving freely in the water and know they are clean and rinsed well. For a load containing 2 large bath towels and 6-7 hand towels I decided to transfer to the spin side briefly after the wash and drain just to remove more soapy water before the rinse. I also used the water inlet on the spin side and like that feature to almost do a second rinse. I need to figure out the best access to water. I tried the sink + hose fill and that is slow, and so I filled manually with a 5 gallon container and water from the tub- my back won’t last long doibg that. I also need to research how hot the water can be and not damage the inner workings of machine. I like to use very hot water for bed linens, kitchen towels etc and my hot water heater is set to 130+ but I’m afraid of damage. This unit really is all plastic like a toy and with old-time timers, nothing electronic, Speaking of plastic it is all pretty flimsy, I guess that keeps the unit so light. I have a poorly engineered lid on the washer side, with one of the hinges not engaged. I have tried a bit to tweak it into place but am afraid of cracking the entire lid. Will just live with it- I won’t return for that nor will I downrate frôm 5 stars. It’s a terrific product for the price.

Best Washing Machine for Sneakers! Absolutely Love It!

This is hands down the best little washing machine! I use it to wash both my husband’s sneakers and mine, and it does an amazing job! My favorite part is the spin cycle — it removes so much water that the shoes come out almost completely dry! I just put them outside in the sun afterward, and they dry super quickly. It’s such a time-saver and makes washing sneakers so much easier. I’m extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it!

I was torn between this Costway, and it's Giantex fraternal twin. I decided on this one because of the price difference, and from what I found- Costway is just as good. The one thing I wish the Costway came with was an actual fabric pouch for a lint trap (which Giantex has). When this thing drains, I can see all sorts of fibers, and nothing at all in what they call a lint trap. The water intake hose is terrible. It's short, and doesn't fit a standard sized faucet. I pour in buckets of water because I can't be bothered with a Home Depot run. I just want to get my laundry done. Hence my 4 rather than 5 stars. Hear me when I tell you- do not leave this washer unattended when draining, ESPECIALLY when spinning. The pulsing is so strong the drain tube WILL flop right out of your tub or sink. You literally need to hold it while it's spinning or you will get water on your floor. Also, I have seen people post about running it in their tubs. There is a warning that comes with the appliance stating NOT TO DO THAT because the water that drains could damage the motor. If you look at the bottom of the unit, you will see how close to the ground it is. Water drained into a tub/shower will definitely touch the motor. It's very easy to move, it has handles on the sides. The spin cycle is incredible. The laundry comes out almost dry, therefore they dry remarkably fast on the drying rack- between 1 and 3 hour. If you're drying socks, for some reason it will be an unbalanced load. I discovered I had to layer the socks flat in between my other clothes so the machine won't go haywire. This is a semi-automatic machine, so if you want to rinse the soap off, you've got to drain the washer, then add more water, run it then drain it again. I highly recommend this machine. Delivery Review The talll, buff Amazon driver who delivered it claimed his back hurt and couldn't bring it up one flight of stairs to my apartment door. He left it down stairs. He looked at me and said "have a nice day, and walked away as I stood there looking at him, like, "you're really just gonna leave the box right here??" I'm a 55yr old lady, and scooped up the box by myself and brought it upstairs. Sidenote: I also saw him fling it out of his delivery truck, as if he was taking out some pent up anger on the washing machine itself. I'd give Amazon delivery 2.5-3 stars for this whole experience.

WoW this is amazing. My second one after the first one was used into the ground. A great necessarily washer that gets your cloths clean and all you need is to dry them on a line or in a small dryer. For small spaces this is a must have. Fills qu8ck and mixes the cloths around to get them clean. The spinner is fast be careful it will rip a limb off. The size and weight is easy for economic and everything daily life through your day may need. Get this one. For sure. Especially if you need a new washer and have no pressure water.

So I’m a single full-time (50-60 hours a week) working mom. I love this appliance/device or whatever category it falls under. I bought a 5 gallon bucket to fill it up with because the in-hose was useless to me. I’ve noticed it has a decent capacity in the washing portion of it but the more water you put into it… the more clothes you can wash. The more water you also put into it… helps it wash a lot better with more movement and flow of the clothes (unless you use a laundry bag like the company recommends to you). I don’t put the clothes in the laundry bag it recommends and I don’t use powder detergent like it recommends and I feel like my clothes have come out fine & clean. If you want no wrinkles, I suggest maybe heat misting them or use vinegar to make your clothes less wrinkly. I live in a two bedroom apartment and once the clothes go in the spin cycle….afterwards I hang them out on my clothesline in my bedroom I have. I feel like it works like a regular washer especially except it only does a spin cycle with no heat for the “drying portion” which takes a lot of the moisture out of the clothes till they’re about 80-90% dry. I’ve had this December of 2024 & I’ve 110% gotten my use out of it. The water drain system is actually pretty decent for the size of the machine and it’s been pretty durable with the weight of the clothes I’ve been in there. I’ve been very happy with it & even thought about purchasing another. Almost wish there were bigger versions of these to do more clothes because it takes a lot longer it seems to wash a load or two at a time. I definitely recommend this to people that have only a few people in their family or it being just themselves. Works my small family of my child and I and would work for an individual as well. Camping it would work too just needs a grounded plug to plug into.
