The plant came in the UPS truck. The new growth was burned and looks sad. I have been buying this ZZ plant from Costa Farms and the plants always looked great, healthy and full. The ZZ plant I got yesterday was damaged and about 1/3 of the size plants in the pot. Not happy with the plant. I payed $15.00 more for this last plant from just 3 months ago. Not happy. Thought I had a great place to order plants. Not so sure now. UPDATE on the ZZ plant. I contacted Costa Farms and sent them a picture of the plant that was damaged. So happy to say that they sent me a replacement plant in just a few days. This new plant was absolutely gorgeous. In the hot days of summer here in Texas, I think the best way to get a plant is to have it shipped thru FedEx two day. When I received the new plant it was standing tall and not curled to one side and damaged due to the heat. I will be ordering all my future plants thru Costa Farms and if needed, I will pay a little extra for shipping. Thank you Costa Farms for caring about your customers. i order 6 plants from Costa Farms. $ werer delivered on Friday, Jan 19, the other 2 just arrived today, Jan 23. Of 6 plants, 4 are dead or dying. I have called 4 times and have left messages. I also emailed per the instructions on the Costa Farms voice mail. I spent a little over $200 to try to get nice, mature plants only to have dead/dying plants that I cannot salvage. I met the delivery person at the door in both cases so they were not outside at all at my home, but clearly there is a shipping issue. I get it. The plants came from Florida. I am in Michigan. It's winter....but if you cant ship/deliver a health plant produce, please dont sell it. Now I cant even get a response to try to get my money back. I have zero confidence that if I try again the outcome would be any different. SO VERY DISAPPOINTED ... show more

Arrived a day early. A very nice plant but minor issue which the supplier was notified about. TBD; update to follow. Update: costa sent a replacement plant which was a sufficient/acceptable alternative. The ZZZ plants have large roots and if disturbed too much can cause some leaves to fall off. The second plant, although packed in pot very much tilted to one side, was a healthy plant, good growth and size. I hope it’ll grow straight after being out of its box awhile. I bought this on a gamble, but the plant arrived in great condition, fully packed w/ soil, and well protected! It has since done wonderfully among my sturdy plants, and has several new stalks growing out from it. If you are questioning whether to purchase, don't hesitate!

I ordered a 22 inch ZZ plant on December 26. I chose the plant I did because I saw it was coming out of Costa Farms and I had purchased four other plants from this vendor. When it arrived, I noticed some burned or insect eaten leaves towards the base of a plant so I contacted Costa Farms and told them what I was experiencing. They immediately said they would replace the plant and I did not need to return it. They said I could try to revive it or throw it away, whatever I preferred. They shipped a replacement plant the next day. I have been very impressed with the quality of Costa Farms plants and most are still growing and thriving in my home. I have a local nursery near my home but their plants are never as beautiful as Costa Farms plants. ... show more
