Update 11/29/21 – after using these for about 6 months, I like them so much I ordered another pair just to put in a drawer to keep as a spare in case I ever lose or destroy the first. Original review: I've had a pair of Costa Ballast (grey lenses) for about a year, and although I really like them (very comfortable), when I wanted to pick up a second pair of good sunglasses (so I could leave them in the car all the time), I wanted something not quite so delicate, and the Turret looked to be exactly what I wanted (thin metal frame, and somewhat of a "wraparound" like the Ballast has). I like sunglasses to either be frameless or have a very thin frame, as some thick plastic frames obscure my vision when I turn to look when changing lanes. The Costa website said that the copper lenses were best for driving, and although I generally have always avoided color-tinted sunglasses, I decided to give them a shot. The seller, Great Lakes Outpost, shipped the sunglasses promptly, and I was happy that they arrived in time for a 3 hour trip for work that weekend. Though the copper lenses do warm up the view, I quickly became accustomed to it. During that drive I switched back and forth between these and the gray Ballast a few times, and found that indeed, the copper really improved the contrast and definition. One very minor issue is that the plastic of the temple tips are just a little sharp, and scrapes a bit when putting them on. But zero complaints about comfort, I wore them for hours with no discomfort to the ears or nose, as they are very light.

These glasses are incredibly light and can easily be worn all day. I have a larger face and they fit perfectly on my face. They look like an expensive pair of glasses, which is good because they definitely aren't cheap! This is my first pair of Costa sunglasses. I have been an Oakley fan for years. I still am an Oakley fan, but these Costa's fit in with my collection of sunglasses just fine!

Best sunglasses I've owned. Wore them driving for 8 hours, forgot I was wearing them. Love the nose pads, they are the same as my costa glasses. I have 3 pairs of both. Finish is durable and the hinged arms are solid. The costa 580 lense is clear and makes colors pop. The polarized lense allows 10% of light in the green and blue, both great for fishing and bright sun. Stay on while sweating, never had the slip.

I got these as s gift for my hubby. He loves them. Great quality with a dark enough lens to keep the sun out of his eyes. Since he is a truck driver, this is very important to him.

Costa sunglasses are great!! I have purchased many different kinds. However this pair is a good pair of glasses as far as the blockage of the sun! But they are not as durable as others. They don’t keep there shape very well they seem to bend very easily. So if you are rough with your sunglssses you may want to find a different pair.
