Fantastic luggage set, almost perfect!

Our largest suitcase from our old three piece set was broken on a recent cruise, and we had been looking for a replacement set and stumbled upon this set. Unlike our older 3-set, this is a five set, with included duffel and toiletry bags. We ordered the Porsche Blue color, and it looks really good, with the tan accents adding a nice complimentary look. The plastic shells have a good hardness to them, with reinforced corners to protect them from getting smooshed or bent in. The wheels have a good, easy spin to them, and are easily replaceable if they break by the push of a button where they connect, which is protected by a raised edge to prevent accidental pushes. The zippers so far are smooth with no pull or tug. All of the cases have a TSA lock on them, which is nice as our old set only had the locks on the two larger ones; they are easy to lock and open, and the codes are easy to change. All of the bags can be expanded out slightly by a simple zipper. The insides are spacious, and all have an open compartment with an extendable plastic buckle strap, and a zipper compartment which has two small zipper compartments on the outside. The extendable handles are also really good, sturdy and easy to pull out and put back in without struggle, and everything can be packed up like a nesting doll for easy storage. The duffel bag is spacious, with three pockets; a small exterior zipper pocket (which IMO could've been a bit larger), a larger interior zipper pocket which feels like it may be intended to be waterproof, and an open interior pocket. Like the cases, it also has the ability to be expanded at the bottom. The toiletry bag is non-expandable, but it does have an interior zippered pocket. One thing I found odd is that all of the cases have a piece across the center of them that velcros between the two sides; on every other similar suitcase we've had this part has been a solid piece, and often with a small zipper pouch. Not a deal breaker, just something I noted. And, like the title says, for us this almost the perfect set; the one thing that would absolutely nail it and I would recommend for future versions is to add a small hand grip at the bottom of the suitcases so you can easily grab both top and bottom for those times you have to carry it horizontally. Currently, there's only the top hand grip, with nothing to hold at the bottom but the edge. While we haven't had the chance yet to fully test the set out, we have an upcoming trip and we'll update this if anything changes after we return. As of our first impressions though, we'd highly recommend this if you're in the market!

Finally ditched my mismatched bags

Been traveling with a random mix of old bags for years, one with a busted wheel and a carry on that never really closed right. Grabbed this set to have everything match and cover different trip lengths, and it did exactly that. The three hard cases all roll really smooth. The spinner wheels move quietly and I can push them along with one finger, which was not the case with my old stuff. Love that the wheels pop off, cleaned one after it picked up gunk and it went right back on. The expandable zipper actually adds real room, I unzipped it on the 28 inch and fit way more than I expected. The corner guards already have a couple scuffs from a trip and the cases themselves look fine, so the reinforcement seems to do its job. TSA locks work fine once you set the code, and the inside straps and pockets keep things from sliding around. One small thing, the duffel and toiletry bag feel a bit thinner than the hard cases. They're handy for a weekend but not the same quality. Still, for a full matching set that covers pretty much any trip, I've got no real complaints and I'm happy with it.

Great Set Of Luggage

This luggage set is a significant upgrade from my current one. I’ve been wanting a sturdy hard case set of luggage for a while now, and my current soft cases are outdated and not very stylish. When I saw the Cosbarn five-piece expandable luggage, I was impressed by the quality of the material. All the pieces are durable and spacious, and it includes all the necessary parts like straps and covers to secure your belongings. The expandable zippers on the outside provide extra room, so you can easily add more space if needed. The set includes three hard-case pieces with nice wheels and secure combinations. The handles are easy to expand and comfortable to carry. Also included is a large soft carry-on bag and a toiletries bag, all of which are color-coordinated. The burgundy and orange color combination is very stylish. Overall, for the price of this five-piece luggage set, it’s an excellent buy with all the features included. It’s well worth the investment. Each piece provides ample space to hold a lot of clothing and travel essentials. I can’t say enough about the quality of this set. It’s excellent and looks like it will last a long time, even with the rough handling you might encounter at the airport.

Great price for a sturdy set...

Pros: - Beautiful, elegant colors and design - Perfect selection of sizes and accessories for most travel; no useless pieces included. - Locks work seamlessly and are easy to set up. - Very spacious pieces. The suitcases have plenty of space, with inside pockets and adjustable straps. The tote is expandable for more room; even the toiletry bag has snaps to make it bigger or more compact. - Tote has a back pocket that also serves as a handle for luggage, which is great for passports, phones, and other easy-to-reach items. - Wheels are easy to install (there's a little button you press to put on and take off), and can be replaced, which is great since wheels are often the reason to replace a luggage piece that is otherwise in good shape. - All hardshells are expandable. - Zippers run smoothly - Wheels are 360 and run really smoothly. Handles extend to a very comfortable length. Cons: - A couple of loose threads on the tote bag, but nothing that really concerned me. Really happy with this set. It has a more upscale look to it while still having great quality in all the pieces. Cannot wait to travel with this one!

Durability Fashion and Function

Cosbarn has put together a grand display of functional luggage that brings high fashion and durability to play. What I love about this luggage set is that the wheels are easy to attach and detach for storage purposes. It's a simple snap and it's in or out. That just makes it nice for some of us that really value space capacity. It can also be a valuable asset if you just need a couple inches of more space you can always pop your wheels off and throw them inside or under a seat. I think it's a great addition in a valuable concept that most luggages should have. The color is magnificently beautiful you just don't see luggage that looks this great. Each piece offers you something different and the entire set allows you to pack as you please. The handles are comfortable and the extended handles adjust perfectly complementing the smooth wheels. The sluggers was made to last and you'll know that from the moment you open it up. Highly durable and exceptionally functional this luggage set is an extremely great value for your money.

Cosbarn 5 Piece Expandable Luggage Sets, Hardshell Suitcases with Wheels

I expected these to feel a little cheap. They don't. The three main suitcases are surprisingly sturdy, the zippers operate smoothly without binding, and overall the set feels considerably better made than I expected at this price point. The spinner wheels roll very well. Even with some weight in the suitcase, it's easy to maneuver and rolls smoothly in any direction. But those wheels are also my biggest concern. They stick out quite a bit from the suitcase, which puts them directly in the line of fire when the bags are being handled. And we've all watched baggage handlers demonstrate the tenderness and compassion normally associated with launching a suitcase into the cargo hold from 30 feet away. The wheels snap on and off, though, which gives you an option. If I'm checking one of these for a flight, I may actually remove the wheels and put them inside the suitcase. I'd rather spend two minutes reinstalling them at baggage claim than discover that one decided to stay behind on the tarmac in Iowa. Storage is another nice surprise. The three main suitcases and the two smaller bags nest together nicely, so five pieces don't require five suitcases' worth of closet space. Are they Tumi quality? No. But they're also not pretending to be. They're sturdy, the zippers work well, the wheels roll beautifully, and you get a LOT of luggage in one set. They'll do exactly what luggage is supposed to do. I'm just keeping an eye on those wheels.

Durable hard shell rolling suitcase set.

You get five different travel items in this Cosbarn package. The three main suitcases are the regular 20, 24, and 28-inch sizes. They slide inside one another, making storage simple and compact. That Porsche Blue shade feels super slick and up-to-date. It's stylish enough that you'll spot it right away when waiting for bags. The whole exterior is crafted from tough ABS hard plastic. That thick material stays strong even with rough treatment. I pushed the biggest suitcase, completely full, over uneven ground. The removable 360-degree spinner wheels moved effortlessly. They steer easily and roll without a sound. That smooth handling is a lifesaver during busy airport sprints. Every bag comes with a TSA-approved lock already built in. Putting in my own combination took only a moment. I completely trust those built-in zippers and locks to stay reliable. Plus, the set has zippered expansion for more packing space. My Family Travel Upgrade
