  • Bluetooth will not work with software, PERIOD. Per manufacture.
Style: Wireless Pattern Name: Mouse
Purchased for the sole intention of using it strictly via Bluetooth so that I would have to have the included dongles plugged into my laptop as it supports bluetooth. The mouse pairs to my laptop without issue. However, the issue that I have with this mouse is that there is no way to turn off the RGB or change DPI settings for the mouse while it is connected via Bluetooth. Lauching the iCUE software that is intended for the mouse gives the error message "No Device Found". Once the mouse is paired with the dongle or the USB cable, the software works without a hitch. Here comes the dumb part. Any changes that you make will only be applied to the mouse as long as the software is running an connected to the mouse. So, if you make changes to the DPI and RGB, and you plan on swapping computers frequently, unless you have the software installed on every computer that you use, the mouse will always have the RGB in Rainbow mode, and you have to use the default DPI settings. Also, not matter if the software is installed or not, if you pair your mouse via Bluetooth, since there is no way for the mouse to communicate with the software via Bluetooth, you will have the same results of Rainbow RGB and default DPI settings. I have contacted the manufacture about the issue, and they have verified that this is normal for the mouse. There is no way for the mouse to store any of you profile settings on the mouse itself. So Bluetooth is a no go unless you like Rainbow RGB and having to click the DPI button to get to a setting that is close to what you want everytime you turn the mouse on. This could all be remedied if you could store changes to the mouse and have those changes active everytime you powered the mouse on, no matter what connection method you choose, and wether or not the iCUE software is installed. ... show more

  • Amazing mouse for the price, even compared to much "nicer" mice
Style: Wired Pattern Name: Mouse
I really like this mouse. And it's in a perfect price range. I stopped using it, only because I purchased a new PC that included a Razer Mamba Tournament Edition mouse thrown in. Comparing the two, they honestly are both very comfortable. I think the Corsair mouse fits my hand a bit better in general. It is a fairly small mouse by comparison and my hands are a little on the small side. I currently use the Corsair mouse at work every day, and I love using it. Since I'm comparing it to the Razer Mamba, let's continue that! -The back/forward buttons on the Corsair feel more clicky and tactile than the Razer's, which feel slightly more squishy. -The sensitivity cycling on the Razer has an up and down adjustment, while the Corsair just cycles one direction through the modes. -The Corsair's sensitivity modes are identified by colors on the RGB section of the mouse (so you have to remember what sensitivity corresponds to each color) while the Razer has software that brings up what looks like a volume bar to show what DPI you're set to. -Both have great software that lets you control every aspect of your mouse, as well as other devices of the same brand. I think they are pretty comparable. I can't speak much to the exact accuracy, and I don't know the tech specs of the sensors, but I am inclined to say the Razer is more accurate than this mouse. That being said, I think the Corsair can go lower than the Razer, which is kind of nice. That might just be a software limitation. The Corsair has a "sniper mode" that goes all the way down to 250 DPI. I prefer running between 800 and 1000. I use my Razer at 800 and my Corsair at 1000, usually. Overall, I love both mice. If you're on a budget, the Corsair is an obvious pick at around $25, while Razer mice sit at $60 or more, with the Razer mouse I have currently going for $90. Unless you are the most serious of gamers, the Corsair will more than satisfy your mosue needs! ... show more

  • it is overpriced
Style: Wired Pattern Name: Mouse
dislike: - the case feels cheap - made for smaller hands - pressing the side button #2 tilt the mouse up and move the cursor - I expect this mouse to last 6 months before the left button malfunction (not covered under normal warranty) that render this mouse useless - the light for manual mouse speed indicator is covered by the palm like: -wired mouse update May 2019 this mouse is about to pass it's 6 month cycle for average mouse use. So far the left button is working fine with no issue. However, after long term my finger would feel the vibration coming from pressing the button. The clicks are audible enough for me to hear. Despite of my initial bad reception of 1 star, I am updating it to 2 star. Reason is longevity use, able to pass my 6 months average use of a mouse. Should it last more than a year I would give i another star. For a reason of worth the price. My initial likes and dislikes stand. update August 9, 2019: I am starting to have some issue with the left mouse button. This is my last update. If I see a bigger mouse with same price I may consider buying this brand again, in this price range. Overall It has not last longer than any other brand that I have used. Beside my initial likes and dislikes of this mouse, I would buy it over a $100 mouse that would last a few months longer. 2 star rating. ... show more

  • The solution to a great mouse if you also hate cords
Style: Wireless Pattern Name: Mouse
I've been looking for a decent gaming mouse but also hate cords. No matter what people say about performance, I just can't stand being tethered to a cord and most wireless mice just don't have a decent enough DPI. This one blows everything out of the water as well as having a host of features. You can go wireless with RF or Bluetooth OR you can go wired with the enclosed cord that also serves to charge the mouse. The forward and back buttons are in a perfect spot, the scroll wheel has great traction, mouse glides nice and it's not too heavy or light. This may not be the mouse for professional level gaming but for the average to above average user this is the perfect option. Best of all the price can't be beat. ... show more
