Installation Guide Step 1: Prepare the Area - Mark the border line and remove any rocks, roots, or debris Step 2: Dig and Position the Edging -Dig a trench along the line, about half the height of the edging. Insert the edging and keep it straight. For curves, gently bend it to shape. Step 3: Secure the Edging -Backfill with soil and compact it firmly for stability. If the soil is hard, moisten it slightly before compacting.

The LAVEVE Corrugated Metal Garden Edging to my landscaping project, and I’m quite pleased with the results. The 12-inch height and 20-foot length were perfect for outlining my flower beds and creating a neat, defined border. The corrugated metal is both sturdy and attractive. It has a nice green finish that blends well with the garden environment while offering a clean, modern look. The material is robust enough to withstand the elements and resist bending or warping, which gives me confidence in its durability. Installation was straightforward. This review is based only on one criteria. The manufactures inability to be honest. They tell us the metal is .05” thick (their product picture). This is dishonest because it is not. It is actually .016”, less than 1/3 what they say, or stated differently, 3 times thinner than they say. You can see the actual thickness in the photo I include. They are deceptive because they measure the top edge which has been folded over on to itself, not tightly (otherwise it would measure .032”). There is not enough detail in their picture to know the metal has been folded over on itself. This is misleading. The correct specification for this product is .016”. Anything other than that is deceptive unless it is qualified with an explanation, like .032” after we have folded it over on to itself. It is a shame really. The edging does seem like it will work for my purposes. There really wasn’t a need to be dishonest. Updated. I bought 5 rolls. I will be sending 4 back. I opened one to measure it so rather than deal with returning that one I will keep it . After reading more reviews I see that there is a problem with the metal rusting through. Because it is so thin and the metal isn’t galvanized before treating it with a rust finish it will likely not last a year. The metal is bare steel that is rusted rather than a galvanized metal that is essentially painted with a rust finish. ... show more

Previously have used the black plastic edging and a couple of other types and they have all failed over a short time. Either becoming wavy or collapsed in areas. Finally installed this edging and it is a total game changer! Easy to install especially if the ground is wet, and I now have straight lines where I want them and clean curves where I put them. Very stiff metal boarder, love the look but I had to dig a trench to put it in. I could not pound it in. I bought two and will probably get more for other areas of the yard. Good quality and worth the price I paid.
