This bookshelf was great and fun to put together. The instruction book was interesting because there were few to no words - only pictures and illustrations of what to do. You have to pay attention. Everything was labeled and packaged well. You're going to have a lot of extra parts. Perhaps, and this is minor, the only disappointing thing was the pictures to advertise this thing. You see that photo with the multi-colored lights? The blue, purple and pink? It makes it seem as though this is an option, and it's not. Your lights are going to be one color only, either stagnant, fading, or pulsing... but it's not multiple colors like that (at least none that I can see). ... show more

This bookshelf was easy to put together and looks nice once assembled. It feels sturdy and I have not had any issues with stability. The LED lights are a cool touch. The Bluetooth app/connection can be a little wonky (my neighbors have connected to it before and changed the lighting) so if you're in an apartment and your neighbors have one as well, it can be a little frustrating. Really easy to out together with two people. All parts came labeled. I liked that there were specific steps to follow if you wanted to build it the “flipped” way. This is going snugged the corner we have limited space for the home office area where this is going. I measured very carefully and this fits just perfectly with the widest part (36”) on the right side. We did not install the lights, not interested in that functionality. ... show more

Directions are awful. Should be much larger with written directions. The parts are labeled with numbered stickers, but three times I had to disassemble and start over. Directions would indicate ‘up’ but no parts with an up label. The available video had no sound and simply mimicked the tiny pictures in the directions. Ok, after MUCH frustration the unit is together. It is solid and all the holes lined up PERFECTLY. It is a very nice addition in my location to store board games. The lighting is nice but instructions VERY shaky on how to attach and how the Velcro was to be used for. With improved instructions I would highly recommend. (Plus two people needed a a couple of points). As is you’re going to need to be very patient. ... show more
