Cork board tiles were exactly what I wanted to make a small bulletin board for my desk. I cut one to make it fit exactly the way I wanted it. It even came with thumb tacks and the board is thick enough that the tacks do not go through to the wall of the desk. I would recommend them for anyone wanting to make a bulletin board. ... show more

    • Very Sturdy Tiles, but dont stick to walls well

The tiles were thick and dense making them feel quite sturdy. Initially they stuck to the wall as the adhesive seemed sticky enough. Within a day they started falling off the wall, so I have to keep resetting them. The wall was an interior wall that is warm, dry, clean, freshly painted. Probably will end up nailing them in place so I dont have to keep messing with them. ... show more

I used to tape sticky notes to the wall by my office desk at home, but my new apt has slightly textured paint, so I thought little cork boards would be the perfect solution. I read so many reviews that said they fell off the person's walls. I bought them anyway, deciding to nail them in - which I've done with a 1" wire brad at each corner - as I figured they wouldn't stick to my walls for sure, anymore than tape would. Sure enough, when I unpacked them, there's a slip that says the wall has to be flat and clean - so maybe that's why people have the problem. ... show more
