Everything you need for small paint/finish projects. This works with my M18 batteries, so the expensive part of the investment was already made. I love the different spray options. I love the cordless functionality. Everything came included. It's pretty easy to clean after a project. I do a lot of wood working and old furniture restoration projects so this is great. The paint capacity is probably too small to paint a house or a deck, but I might try anyway.

This unit just works. The instruction manual is very useful as it has a chart to tell you exactly what the flow rate through a funnel should be in order to get a good spray. This is pretty critical as a thick paint or stain, while it might go through the gun, will give you inconsistent results. The package also comes with a stack of filters. Extremely important to use the filter when filling the sprayer. A spec of dirt can clog a needle and cause all sorts of headaches. I like the fact that these are brass nozzles. Brass, like all metal, is subject to abrasion over time but if you don't abuse the nozzles, they'll last forever. One note to the manufacturer: I had to magnify the nozzle to read the nozzle size. A different color on the size would have helped. A deeper stamping would have helped. The unit comes with a blower nozzle which is cool but not sure I'll ever use it as I have a different blower that gets used. The unit has variable flow as well as variable trigger stop. These are 2 very important features. I have an older sprayer without these features, and it took years to learn the trigger. Speaking of triggers, it is made for a larger hand. While I have no issue with the spray trigger, my son, who is smaller, felt that it was a little too far away for his hand. He could still control the sprayer, but it was less comfortable for his hand. The included cleanup nozzle is a blessing. Cleaning a sprayer is a tedious task and this little addition made the job quicker. Still takes time to do it right, but this saved time and effort. I'm going with 4 stars mainly because of the trigger placement for smaller hands and the fact that I had to magnify the nozzle to read their sizes. Neither take away from the fact that this is a very nice sprayer that belongs in a person's DeWalt collection.

The spray paint gun is pretty good in general. It is quite sturdy, tight. The paint does not leak (common issue with these). The battery matches perfectly. There is a wide range of attachments, however, you most likely not need all of them. The only thing that is not to my liking -the small volume. It runs out pretty quick and you have to refill frequently. Other than that, it is a functional tool.

The cordless paint sprayer came with a motor, spray handle, paint container, 4 nozzles, extra rubber gaskets, a pin to clean the nozzles, and a skinny wire brush to clean the rest of the paint sprayer. One nozzle was already set up in the sprayer; The other 3 read 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0. It was fairly easy to put the sprayer together without the instructions. The instructions claim you can adjust the paint volume/thickness that is sprayed and adjust whether the paint sprays horizontally or vertically with dials. The dials did not work for me when I tested it out. Because I couldn't adjust the spray angle or amount of paint, my sealant job became very messy with lots of excess wasted or spraying things I didn't mean to spray. The sprayer is advertised as 1000mL, but the manual instructs to not exceed 800 mL in the tank. My Dewalt battery pack fit perfectly onto the motor and worked well, though it was difficult to fit it on the first time. The motor has to be deconstructed from the spray handle/gun to install the battery first, which can be an annoying extra step if you need to change out batteries midway through. I also had to deconstruct the nozzle in order to clean it of clogs frequently, though this is probably more likely due to the fast dry time for my sealant (1 hour). I didn't mind using it, but there was a huge mess after and some wasted sealant. But it works great if you're in a bind, do a very good job of containing the paint job, or just want something lightweight and portable for a quick touch-up. I'll probably designate this paint sprayer for outdoor-only jobs and harder to reach places.

This cordless paint sprayer works great. It is a big plus to me that it is cordless. I am an artist and spray some of my panels away from the house to avoid overspray on my house siding. This works so much better than a brush and is way less expensive than using spray cans. I also plan on using it for my entry way fence which is white boards and way too far from electricity at my house to use with an electric sprayer. It comes with 5 nozzles and has a large container. This works perfectly for me.

An easy to use cordless spray painter - but please note that a battery IS NOT included. Setup is easy and no issue. The learning curve is very short, and soon you will be painting away. The longest time will be involved in taping things up before you start. We only did some very basic painting in one room, so I cannot testify to the longevity of the product.
