This tool took me forever to write a review for since it took me two tries (weeks apart) to get it working correctly. I'm always on the lookout for uses for all the Milwaukee batteries I have, so when I saw this paint sprayer, I had to have it. Not a whole lot to it, really. I have an expensive paint sprayer in my shop, but it is a project unto itself to get it set up, use it, then clean it and put it away, so I was hoping this one would be good for small jobs. The first time I used it I foolishly figured it worked with the same viscosity of paint my other one did, but that wasn't so. I ended up getting frustrated and put it away for another day - just finished the small job with a brush. The second time was with a bucket of paint that the former owner of my house had sitting around from when they had the house painted, which was already thinned. This paint worked well in this sprayer, but I can't tell you what the ratio is. I will likely thin paint for this sprayer by sight next time, but this time the paint went on with two coats. Overall, it is a good idea, but can be frustrating to use - most paint sprayers are that way. ... show more

This spray gun is good for your basic small spray jobs. It does take a lot of thinning to get it to spray well. The spray pattern leaves a lot to be desired but is still useable. The directions also leave a lot to be desired, I have had some trouble trying to clean it all out. I like that I can use my M18 batteries but they are very difficult to install and remove. I was looking for a paint sprayer for a while and found this one could work with M18 battery. The assemble took some time, the user manual is not very clearer but not too hard to make work. I was super excited there is a paint sprayer that takes the Milwaukee batteries I already have. Unfortunately this sprayer has fitting and connection issues. It seems their tolerances are off. The m18 battery fits very tight and is difficult to get on and off. I always pull so hard the battery finally releases and goes flying. The connection between the motor housing and gun body with paint cup is very tight. It takes a while when you first put liquid in it for it to flush through the system, and takes a bit from the trigger pull until it starts dispensing paint. The instructions are pretty minimal. There is no cleaning instructions or guidance on when to use the 8mm vs 2.5mm nozzle. Is this functional to use, yes, but it’s not very enjoyable or confidence inspiring. ... show more
