This is a steal at this price. Works as intended and works perfect with Dewalt batteries. Could have paid allot more for the name brand. For my casual use this was a bargain. The blades are ok but those are replaceable for higher quality ones. A bit loud but it’s a tool that works as intended.

This was a great purchase and value. The tool works great. Has multiple speeds and best of all I didn't have to buy additional batteries. The tool uses the same 20v batteries my Dewalt tools use. So I had batteries already. It comes with blades. However I bought some extras and some smaller ones for my specific needs. Most all oscillation tool blades will fit. I ordered this tool and liked it right away, powerful, adaptable, easy to use and the various speeds enable you to make short work of tough materials. My De Walt batteries connect right up and I don't need to deal with another expensive set of batteries. After 8-10 uses the tool seemed to be less effective so I checked it over and noticed that the screws holding the headpiece on were loose. I tightened them up and it was back to work. After another dozen uses, I noticed a rattle inside the body cavity when I moved the tool around. I opened up the tool to find that one of the capacitors had broken loose off the board. There is no good way to solder it back on and it is still running, so I will have to see how long it lasts! Great tool, poor construction for the power it puts out. Long lasting? We will see what happens next, but I'd buy it again for the money. ... show more

I've never bought a dewalt compatible off brand tool before so I was a bit worried. So far this tool has met all my expectations. Only time will tell hiw long it will last. ... show more

The oscillating tool, styled to resemble a DeWalt, accepts the 20v batteries I use for my DeWalt tools, and seemed to operate well. However after using the mid-sized spade blade to cut a soft aluminum rivet, at the recommended high setting, it slowed drastically, even stopping. The off/on switch also failed, and I had to remove and then reinsert the battery to get it running again. It would not rise to more than half speed, and was unable to do anything more than cut thru lightweight gap-filling foam. But after less than 5 minutes later, it would turn off within a few seconds of turning on. It was useless. I read the reviews, but underestimated the probability of failure, seeing as there were so many positive reviews mixed in with those like the one In adding now. This is maybe -MAYBE! -maybe half-star product, because it did, kind of, work for about a half hour before it became an object lesson: unless a tool has 95+% 4 & 5 star reviews, "caveat emptor" indeed! Better yet, just don't buy a highly likely POS. ... show more

Purchased this Dewalt and was hoping it would live up to the name. This is a powerless saw, very unhappy with this unit. I have multiple Dewalt power tools and this is Terrible would never spend the money on this ad. I tried it out in the store first before buying it.
