I needed a cord keeper so that my phone charging cord wouldn't get vacuumed up by my floor robot vacuum. This clip comes in a variety of colors and has a simple installation with a sticky backing. To secure the cord, just flip open the hinged clip and it snaps back closed on its own. So far it has staying in place stuck to the side of my night stand. It's can be placed in an inconspicuous location and still do the job. I recommend this product.

I have purchased the clear and black version of these clips and they are great. You can use them with most cables because they have a hinge that allows them to open and close. They aren't tight around normal charging cables which allow the cables to slide through and stop at the end. That way they hang down vertically without a large arch flopping over. Finally, the adhesive is fantastic. It sticks better than most and can be difficult to remove. If you clean the surface with alcohol before placing them, they are almost permanent. To remove them I used a sharp knife or chisel and removed the clip, leaving the adhesive in place. Then just peel of the adhesive by rolling up at the edge. I think these clips are fantastic.

Simply put these work as you expect them to (which is becoming harder to find in a world of cheap plastic and poor design). The spring of the clip is strong enough to hold the wire in place, but is easy enough to open with your fingers. This is especially nice if you accidentally pull on the cord, because it releases the cord rather than damaging it. Additionally, the pieces don't feel cheap and the adhesive backing is sufficient to hold the clip in place even when you pull the cord out of the clip.
