This is a cute little shelf, I had to watch the video linked on the instructions but after that it was easy! The grey cart is what the little plants were on and for size comparison. It seems sturdy and I like that the wood is really smooth and polished with a clear coat. None of the pieces are labeled with anything like a sticker or written on but organizing them was easy. This was not too hard to assemble though the pictures and instructions could've been better. Watching the attached instruction videos helps more than the paper instruction. It's cute and fits perfectly in my space and has been holding up well.

After picking up the box at the post office, I began to wonder if I had purchased the right product for our 8th floor patio veranda. At just over 10 pounds delivered, it did not feel as substantial as perhaps I needed for what can be a windy place. But, as the cost was not prohibitive and after measuring twice and ordering once, this was the best option for our limited space, I began assembly. In short assembly is possible. Hints - Read through the instructions first. Second, yes the instructions are not written (or edited) by a native English speaker but it is doable. Third, don't rush! In thirty minutes, I had it assembled and it is more solid than the lightweight bamboo would suggest. It is well varnished. I may have a read a prior review of someone who got a splinter. In my case not in my case. I used the tools and hardware provided and there was one extra of each, which I think is helpful. Finally, I did not tighten as suggested until the end, when I had it out on the veranda. Footprint is good for our limited space and it opened up the space. So far it has handled all the heavy, filled clay pots and the one hanging plant. It would be nicer to have the hanging plant rod higher but then it would be in our case unstable. I didn't expect to like this product so much, especially when I received it in a relatively flat box. BUT, it folds into place, secures with one screw, the shelves rest on the stand, and voila! Very easy assembly! I was looking for something to hang my Burrow's Tail from when I bring it in for the winter because it is really heavy and I worried about hanging it from the ceiling. Not only is this stand perfect for that, but it's perfect for my spider plant too! And as an added bonus, it can fold up and be put away easily in the summer when the plants go back outside! I read several reviews about this product saying the instructions were difficult to follow or the material wasn’t great, and I found that to be far from the truth. This took me about 30 minutes to assemble and I had no issues with the instructions. The material is bamboo, so if you have impossible expectations for that material I’m sure you will be disappointed. The bamboo is strong, lightweight and easy to clean. Meaning, don’t plan on leaving this out in a yard to get rained on and never take care of it (you should be shopping at Lowe’s instead of Amazon). I have it out on my apartment balcony where it won’t get wet often except maybe splashed during heavy rains, and it is absolutely perfect for us to have our own little garden now that our plants can be elevated to get some sunshine. The shelf even came with some cute gardening tools! Very thoughtful and generous of the seller to include with an already very reasonably priced product. I think you will love this product as long as you use it for the right purpose and take care of it as needed. ... show more

I did need a little help installing the hanging part, but in hindsight I was going about it kinda backwards, so that’s on me. The instructions could be a bit clearer, but they do just fine and there are several resources (including a QR code to a YouTube tutorial) included in the instructions in case you need more help. It doesn’t fold as flat as I would like, which is important if you’re like me and using this as a portable vendor display rather than a plant rack, but it is small enough and lightweight enough to easily transport, and if push came to shove it would be easy to disassemble and reassemble, even partially. I bought a model D stand, round corner unit. I really liked it so I ordered another one. The only complaint I had with the first unit was some of the side wall of the trays was bent and cut here and there. I just tried my best to bend them back. The item went out of stock and came back, so I ordered the second one. This time, they changed the size of one of the trays and the screws and nuts. The first one had black screws and nuts that matched the stand and also it seemed to the right length. The ones that came with the second unit, the screws are too long and sticking down too far and they got silver ones like they couldnt find black one so they replaced with whatever that was available. And the trays, again, lots of bent spots, the material seems to be too fragile and I think it happened before they packed because there was no damage to the packaging box so I guess they dont care about quality control. The worst, they made one of the trays smaller so they can save the cost for packaging(I contacted the customer service and they told me this was the reason.) Even though I understand company's choice to change the size of the tray to save the cost, I think they shouldnt change if it affects the functionality. The small tray slides around and doenst stay in place every time I am working with my pot now. I like the stand that it takes very little space and hold my plants securely but I am disappointed with the changes the company decided to make. ... show more
