I can't attest to the actual 99.9% copper since I would have no easy way of knowing that, BUT I can say that the metal is beautiful and the right size for use in my projects. The only thing I wish they did, was put it in a resealable bag.

I intend to use this as a high temperature metallic sand bath. The copper is chopped very small, a mixture of (apparently) different wire sizes. It is clean, unoxidized copper, quite bright in appearance. My wife remarked at how pretty it was. The only surprise was how small a volume one pound occupies.
