This instantly became my favorite robe. It's plush, dense, velvety, well-cut and perfectly comfortable. I love the shawl collar and the weight of this fabric. The sash even sits at a better, lower position than my other robes, and I'm a big fan of that. Many washes and wear in, I still love this robe. There is one flaw that I didn't notice until after the first wash. At the low hem, the stitching went rogue. It's possible the person making this either wasn't very familiar with how to complete the stitching cleanly or was overwhelmed with work and trying to move too fast. If I had chosen this to gift to someone, I would feel bad about that flaw. Looking at that part closely, it's not pretty. This is a very warm and soft bathrobe. It will probably be too warm in the summer but I’m really enjoying it while it’s cold out. It would be nice if it had inside ties to keep it closed in addition to the belt but it still stays closed reasonably well.

This item was delivered on Nov 28th. I like that it has a hood with pockets and it’s very comfortable. I just noticed some stitching is missing from the pocket so now it has a hole. I’ve only wore it a few times and I have not washed it at all.
