This is a great product, and one I didn't even know I needed. It is not a "grass rake", but is much narrower because it's purpose it to clean up along paths and inside garden beds. Right off the top, it is very sturdy and well designed. The tangs are just stiff enough to get all sizes of objects, from leaf bits to small stones and twigs; and the width allows you to easily navigate between plants. But the best part is it's modular design, allowing you to vary the length of the handle to fit your height. I'm 6' tall, and this is the first time ever I've been able to rake standing up straight without bending over even slightly; a real boon to my back! The longer handle also is able to reach far into garden beds, but reducing it to only one handle length allows it to be used to gather debris while on your knees weeding. This is a real winner!

Now that the leaves have fallen , i can really test things out. It was really easy to put together, just install and twist! simple as that. It is light weight and makes it easy not to get too tired when using it. I love the fact that it is easy to take apart as well, like if you are short on storage space. It's pretty sturdy as well. The only problem that i could find with it is that the head of the rake is not that big. It's good if you have a small area to rake, but if you are trying to rake a bigger area, you might want to go get a bigger rake. I see this item being used mostly for small gardens or small front yards. Anything bigger will be frustrating.

This sturdy little rake is adjustable in that it comes in pieces and you can add as many as you need to adjust the height up to 72 inches. I have 3 sections on mine making it about 5 feet tall which is perfect for me. The rake part is only 9.5 inches wide so a little more than half of my older metal tine rake which is now missing about 3 tines. The tines on this rake are much sturdier and I hope they'll last awhile. I hate to rake and try to find ways around doing it, so the fact that this rake is smaller doesn't really bother me. And while this one might take longer because of its size, the rubber grips make it more comfortable in my hands so maybe I won't get blisters like I usually do. The one complaint I have is that it took me awhile to get the sections tight enough that it didn't fall apart while I was using it on a section of the yard that's has too many leaves to mulch at the moment. That may just be my fault though because I don't have a lot of hand strength. I got out my adjustable pliers and finally got them tight enough to stay together. At least I think I did anyway. I'd totally lost interest in raking after that and haven't tried using it again, but it's that time of year so...;)
