Breathable and light. I don't think this is meant for a lot of warmth, and I didn't think it was really. Has ear loops to keep the mask from falling down. It's totally a ninja style balaclava. Fits well by design. Not too tight and I have a big head. Comfortable and not super warm. Nice and worth the price.

When I received the Yaniky Balaclava , the designed packaging, roughly the size of a record album, showed its many versatile arrangements. I could guess a few of them, but the packaging shows several more than I would have thought of. This is a very simple design with tons of potential. The quality of the fabric is great; it feels incredibly good against the skin and lives up to its "cooling" claim. The material itself feels like a quality t-shirt with holes punched for air circulation. I've used it for some yard work with the dry dust blowing in the wind, and folded up for head cover (thin hair, need sun protection). But I could also see it for long runs or outdoor workouts absorbing sweat and cooling with the breeze. I like that the mouth portion acts as a mask against the dust and pollen as well. One of its well thought out features is its two-piece design. I particularly appreciate the neck cover that remains in place even when the face mask portion is pulled up, offering sun protection. The solid gray color is also a nice, neutral touch. Caring for it seems straightforward; I plan to wash it in a delicates bag and line dry it to maintain its quality. Overall, if you're looking for a quality, versatile, and effective face mask for sun protection, the YANIKY Cooling Balaclava is a solid choice.

Premium quality balaclava style face covering with gaiter down to almost the collar bone. Soft ear loops for inner mesh and cinch cord for outer layer keeps things in place. Different type of mesh over mouth and nose for breathability. Sub zero style. Very accurate color. (Sea greenish mint?) Small company logo on front but nothing ridiculous. Similar to overall color and not some bogus contrast neon pink. Very mellow. I don't pay money to buy your product and become a walking billboard my friend. Material - 84% nylon 14% spandex Nice addition to my other face masks. Great for fishing, camping working in the yard. Anything where you need sun protection and a light barrier between your face/neck and the elements. Packaged too well in cardboard sleeve. Waste of material and dimensional space for such a small garment. But does feel more exclusive upon opening item. But save the Earth. Foreal. This is a vine review. Be nice to other humans.

Overall really good, offered great protection from the sun! I do think it's cooling effect is a little hindered due to the design, as the double layer makes it warmer with hoodie up. The ear loops do keep the inner mask from falling down, but its kinda awkward to have it end at the middle of the ears.

This is perfect for fishing when it's early and cold outside, it’s very thick and made of good quality. The color matches with mostly everything and it also keeps the sun off your face as well.

The price point for this balaclava is right about on target! It certainly does help with cooling and is great for doing sports like disc golf or yard work. It may not keep ALL the dust out but it certainly helps, and helps keep grass and stuff away. The material is nice and comfortable with good stitching, the drawstring is in good shape, and it fits the male half of our household's average size head just fine. It's also pretty great that it can be used as seen with the hood, or you can adjust it to just use it as a face mask. It certainly does offer some sun protection, though with the tiny perforations some sun is gonna get through, so if that's a concern you'll definitely want to add more sun protection. Overall it's a good product and idea!
