For across the board road travel, this works well. Don’t know about air travel and their rough handling of your bags. Nice thick and durable outside material that is attractive. Inside is basic but easy to use when packing with cubes. The 2 tie downs keep you organized and in place. The only thing that could improve performance is flat fabric handles to grab on all sides. But, as designed, certainly ok. The stacking is great but you definitely lose real estate inside as you step down in sizes. ... show more

I wanted to wait until I actually used this luggage for a trip, which I did recently. Here are a couple of things I realized while using this luggage for travel. The suitcases seem pretty sturdy and the spinner wheels work well (hopefully they last a while). I know the dimensions are clear in the product description, but wanted to confirm that only the smallest suitcase is considered a carry-on. I like the size of the medium suitcase but it is too big for a carry-on. Also the smallest suitcase does not have a side handle, which makes it a little difficult to maneuver into the overhead compartment. I also didn't realize when I bought this set that they are not expandable, which would have been a plus. But all in all, a decent set for the price. Hope to use them for a long time! ... show more

Update on my previous Review - I would like to make an amendment to my previous review about my Coolife suit case. While I was disappointed about the large suit case collapsing during my first trip, which compromised the entire suit case. I contacted Coolife about my experience, and I was emailed back immediately by Blair. Blair took the time to look at the photos I sent, read my email to Coolife and read my review on Amazon. I was surprised at the amount of time she took to resolve my issue. I even received a personal phone call from Blair. During this phone conversation, she listened to my concerns about the suit case and why it was important that I have one that is very sturdy. She offered me two options for replacing the previous suit case. She sent the links directly to my email, so I could look at the links at my convenience. Once I had made a decision, I emailed her back and got another prompt email with details about the replacement suit case. Coolife sent me the replacement hard shell suit case at no charge. Even after I got my replacement suit case Blair called and sent me an email to touch base to ensure that everything with the new suit case was good. Blair provided exceptional customer service, and I was very happy that Coolife replaced my suit case with no charge. Even though my first suit case was compromised, I highly recommend Coolife due to the incredible customer service I received! A big Thanks to Blair for all her help! Based on this experience I will be changing my rating to 5 stars, great costumer service goes a long way. Previous review - I ordered this luggage because my old luggage had fallen apart. I was very excited to get this luggage because I had a number of trips coming up this summer. I read a number of reviews about how easy to move and durable this luggage set is. Durability is very important to me because I travel to a variety of places, everything from resorts for ballroom competition to remote places around the world. I am very disappointed that the largest suit case of the set did not even make it through my first flight. One side of the suit case a few inches above the wheel collapsed or the metal wire bent, but either way it compromised the entire suit case. It made it very difficult to wheel the suit case once I had arrived to my destination. Due to this, it made me very nervous when I was flying back because I did not know if it would hold up through my travels' home or not. Even though this was extremely disappointing because I was hoping this suit case would be as sturdy and long lasting as my previous large suit case, the carry on suit case was amazing and full filled all the expectations I had for it. I do want to note that the carry on suit case and the middle size (which I have not used for travel yet), and the large suit case arrived in good condition and as described by the seller. Due to my experience, I am going to rate this a 2 instead of a 1 because the large suit case was not durable enough to make it through my first flight, which made it difficult to move the suit case once I had arrived and during my travels back. The carry-on suit case held up wonderfully, which helped earn the additional star for this review. ... show more

I have searched for new light-weight luggage everywhere & on Amazon. I needed it to be in my tight budget & be light-weight & hold up. I took a chance & I have not been disappointed. My DH is handicapped now & I have to pack, load & unload our luggage now myself. We’ve done 3 road trips now & they’ve held up so well. I love the locks on the side just to keep the zippers in place. The wheels roll wonderfully & the weight feels like it’s only from what I pack. We have had the same old luggage for over 20 years before this & it was sturdy, but only two wheels & heavy all by itself. This new set is just Wonderful & cost me less than a single of quality anywhere else. I got a great deal on a quality product….. makes me happy. ... show more

The luggage arrived quickly and was easy to unpacked from the box. Everything that was pictured was received. First impressions, you can definitely tell this luggage by feel it is a cheaper brand compared to other luggage brands such as K-Swiss. The make looks decent I didn't notice any sewing mistakes or poor craftsmanship. The luggage is light weight and looks like it can hold alot. The wheels work well even on carpet. The handles are a hollow aluminum but seem sturdy they don't wiggle or move much when extended out. I have yet to try them out with the luggage full. I picked the gray and it looks darker than the gray pictured also this luggage set came with built In locks at which was not mentioned in item description or pictured. Not knowing this I purchased some luggage locks a 10 pack for 40 bucks. I don't know how strong the luggage locks will be over time but I guess in case I can pack the locks with my luggage. Overall i think it will suffice for a first time luggage for me and my husband going on an 8 day cruise. It has a two year warranty so I hope it holds up! Overall for my budget I am satisfied. ... show more
