I was surprised at how large these were. I didn't read the full description as I was focused on how long they kept things frozen. The food at the bottom of the chest was still frozen after 24 hours. The top was thawed and cold. I'm thinking the lid off my chest must have been the cause. I had one of these at the bottom and one in the middle and one on top. Knowing this I would put the most important on the bottom working my way up from there if I need to do this again. ... show more

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I was really impressed with these. We put about ten bottles of water and about six cans of soda in a cooler. The cooler was placed in our den, so, at basically room temp (70+ish). Then placed ONE frozen bag over the top (no, they don't spill out everywhere. Just be conscious of the hole). It's been about 42 hours and the water and sodas are still cold. I'm certain that if we used two or three in the cooler, it would keep yogurt, cheese, meats and all... cold for a good long time! We have a plan to place fragile things in plastic containers so they don't get crushed. ... show more

I use these in my travel trailer to keep the fridge cold while driving. I freeze them at home in my deep freeze which stays about 2-5 below zero. I’ve driven 4-6 hours and they’re still solid as a rock in a pre cooled RV fridge and food is nearly the same temp as when i left the house. I’ve also used these in my RTIC cooler for a weekend trip instead of Ice, they held up well. ... show more

    • Stayed frozen for 10 days!
We bought these for a recent trip through the Southwest. We froze the packs according to the instructions and packed three of them in a cooler (the fourth one wouldn't fit), we were staying in hotels and the refrigerators either didn't have freezers or the freezers where too small for the 10x14 size packs, so we put the packs in the refrigerators overnight and they actually froze the inside of the fridge a couple of nights. After 10 days on the road without re-freezing two of the packs were still frozen and one mostly thawed. Pretty amazing product. ... show more

Great ice packs! Easy to fill! Just wish there was more of a seal on the liquid so that when it melts it wouldn’t drip out all over the soft ice chest we use it in. Can’t really beat the price though! Would buy again.

I loved these packs and in a good cooler they were still partially frozen after 2 days. The only thing I would like changed is the reference to using a soda bottle to fill them up. Some of us don't drink soda so we don't have a bottle available to use to measure in mililiters. Add instructions in cups or ounces and not just milliliters. ... show more

This is a great product easy to fill, freeze nicely and stay frozen for a long time. I really like that if they leak then it’s only water and not a chemical substance. I can’t comment on the longevity yet but so far so good from the way they are made and they way the hold water I’ve only had to refreeze them. Definitely worth buying. ... show more
