i have owned my board for about a month now using it daily for fun rides around my small town ranging from 3-7 mile rides. The speed of the board is perfect for beginners and intermediate riders. i charged my board up out of the box and remote and was having a blast in no time. the 4 speed modes makes it great for new riders, even kids that have never rode a board before. the brakes makes it to where you can kit hills on your first day of riding within an hour. with the board being electric you can focus on how to ride and not how to push/kick at the same time. i purchased this to mainly explore switch riding because it is always uncomfortable to kick and wow has this make a difference. this is a perfect board anyone wanting to try one on a budget or even practice snowboarding in the off season. 100% worth every penny within the first week!! ... show more

    • It's good whenever the temperature is above 50 degrees
Title says it all, anytime you're riding this board and temperature is going to be above 50°, you're going to be fine. No battery range problem no nothing. Once you dip below 50°. That's when you see the battery just drop in range. This is the second time it's dropped dead on me on my way to work, and due this I might be late cause of it. So if you're trying to ride 4 MI in 50° weather you're fine, anything more and this thing could just dropped dead on you whenever it feels like it. Part 2: after making it to work and checking it out, from what I can tell, it's either bricked now or too cold to turn on. Power indicator on the charger says the board is charged yet when I unplug it and try to turn it on, nothing happens. So if that's the case I'ma try my hardest to get a refund. ... show more

    • Great battery life and amazing speed
When i first got this, I was surprised to see how big the deck was and how big the wheels are. I charged it and used it outside for a few minutes to get used to the acceleration which only took me like 10 minutes, then I was cruising on speed mode 4. I was worried about how far the battery life would go, but on its second use, I cruised for about 6 miles on speed modes 1 and 2, and the battery life was still at 75%! Then, after this, without charging it, I cruised around my neighborhood on speed mode 4 for about an hour until the battery died.     • This gift brought lots of heartache
My son was so excited to open this at Christmas. It worked perfectly the first time. After the next charge it worked for a very short time. Charged it again and has not worked since. A good friend of his also received this for Christmas and has had the exact same disappointment.

I had never been on a skateboard before, but decided I was ready. Having some snowboard and surfing experience I took to it pretty quickly. It’s great having 4 power settings, although number 1 couldn’t get me started (170 pound person). I very quickly moved up to the highest speed level. I’ve had the board for a month or two and have noticed the battery loosing capacity. If I were to make a conservative guess, I’d say I could do 3 miles before dead battery, tops. If I knew how much fun it would be and how quickly I’d “outgrow” this board, I would have gone for the next price point tier up. Great board to get started though. ... show more

    • Battery Life
The board has enough power to bring you from point A to point B and the power is just enough to climb the 15 degree slope. The speed is pretty quick and just right for control and balance. I have not tried the expert mode yet though. The larger wheels are perfect for sidewalk riding and goes over pebbles and not wipe out. I chose this over a scooter because it's easier to bring into the train or bus. With the discounts, it was worth the price. June 14th (Review after 2 months). It's still a great board for what I need it for "BUT" the remote control doesn't seem to fully charge. The fully charge green light doesn't come on even after 4 hours of keeping it on charge. The charge goes to 50% after 2 miles. July 19th (Updated). Now the board is not worth the trouble. The board's battery does not last. Charged for 4 hours, light on charger was green. Took the board out for a ride and it didn't last 30 minutes or 1 mile before the board lost ALL it's power. Frustrating. It was good at first but it's kinda useless now for an electric board. ... show more

This board is a step up from my previous electric skateboard, and my kid loves it! It can go a little faster and the battery lasts longer. The board is solid and the overall build is great.
