This is a nice cheap rain coat. Its very light and has a thin liner. I am a large man and the 4xl fit perfectly. I normally wear a 4xl so that is a positive. I had to return another that was way to small. its very lightweight and compact and fits in the pouch easily. Like other have said the hood is HUGE!! It works well if you have a hat but without wone its way to large. It doesnt stand up to direct water splashing on you when in a boat but handles rain well. It was a good purchase ... show more

Very well made and lightweight. Comes in a zippered pouch. I purchased this as I am going to be traveling and I do not want to pack a large rain coat! Also it has a hood and bottom straps to make it tighter around the waist if needed!

When they say "lightweight," they mean "LIGHTWEIGHT!!!" The fabric feels like something between silk panties and Saran Wrap. An XX size jacket folds up, and fits into the back pocket of my blue jeans. Not at all what I expected for 25 bucks. Certainly not much of a fashion statement. I'd put this coat in the same category as a mylar emergency blanket. Take it on a hike where you think sunglasses or a toothbrush are excess weight. Is it waterproof? My initial test indicated zero leakage. However, the thin material almost felt wet, although it was dry inside. Sorta like a condom? I suppose it does function as a rain jacket. I'll store mine in the plastic worm bin of my tackle box in case of April showers when fishing Beaver Creek. I can't remember the last time I actually needed a rain coat. Occasionally, I get a bit damp when dashing from my car into Big Mart. More often, I simply wait for the rain to quit before going shopping. For me, this rain jacket earns three stars. I was mostly hoping for a casual jacket to wear on moderately cool days. I would be too embarrassed to wear this garment in dry weather. But, it might be exactly what you are looking for.
