I got this shirt in wine red for my husband. The red color is deep and looks great. This shirt is made like a polo shirt but the full button-down front and sweater-knit fabric make it dressier than the typical polo shirt. He has worn it several times so far, with jeans and dressy leather sneakers to a couple of casual get-togethers, and he really likes it for casual days at work. He wears it with a pair of either navy, black or gray suit pants and dress shoes, but without the jacket and tie. It looks really sharp but is more casual and comfortable than a full suit with a starched white dress shirt and tie. The fabric is sweatery but fine-gauge, not thick and bulky. It is thin enough to be tucked in, if you like, or of course the shirt can be worn untucked. The fabric is 80% rayon which is a natural fiber that provides softness and drape, while the 20% polyester gives the fabric some body and makes it more durable. It does have a sort of retro look and feel which we both like. The solid color keeps the retro-ness somewhat in check; the shirt does have a retro vibe but overall is somewhat conservative rather than kitschy. I got him his usual XL size and it fits; he is tall with a medium/thin build, but in his early 60s with a basic "dad bod" so doesn't want clothes that fit tightly. So far I've washed the shirt a couple of times, both times in cold water and dried it flat. It needed a little touch-up ironing but nothing major. Air drying prevented it from shrinking; I don't like to tumble dry rayon because it my experience that shrinks it. Overall a great looking shirt, something a little different and more fashionable for my husband who dresses fairly conservatively.

I really like this shirt and ordered it in my normal size MD (5'8"- 180lbs- 42S jacket). The material is super stretchy and the knit material is very breathable. It did shrink a bit in the dryer (due to the looser knit), so I'll likely order another one in the Large size because I do really like the shirt. If you're a slim medium or very fit you'll probably be fine staying true to size, but if you have a little extra in the mid section I'd order a size up to account for shrinkage. Still a solid shirt.

I am actually returning the shirt because I've lost a lot of weight, and a lot of things don't look good on me, especially with scrawny arms and muscles. But I needed to write the review because the quality blew me away. I was born many, MANY years ago, and this garment reminded me of knitwear from the 1950s (maybe even the 40s), with a full-fashioned seam for the shoulders, and the fabric which had the appearance of a knit even though it's undoubtedly polyester/ spandex. The quality is gorgeous, and I really love the style - a polo type shirt, but you button the front. It's so retro. Anyway you won't be disappointed by the quality of this shirt.

Loved the shirt's stretchy, breathable fabric in my usual MD size. It shrank slightly post-dryer, so I'm considering a Large for my next purchase. Perfect for those with a slim or athletic build – if you're broader around the middle, size up to offset any shrinkage. Overall, a great buy!
