At first I thought these were too expensive so I ordered another cheaper pair of the “same brand” so I could return this one later. After receiving the other one I noticed just how much better these are made in comparison. The soles have actual padding, the plastic material in the front is thicker, and the fabric around the shoe itself is about 1 inch thicker than the other one and the material just felt better. I guess it pays not to cheap out on this kind of stuff lol. I would definitely order a half a size smaller though as all converse seem to universally run half a size larger ... show more

I had these shoes when I was much younger, but even now at 61 I wanted a pair for kicking around the house and casual wear, PLUS they are still great in the gym, as I strength train twice a week. Glad I said the heck with age and bought them. So comfortable
