I absolutely love these sneakers. The difference from this model and the more traditional one is that it has a thicker out soul, which makes it feel more durable, and also gives more space for a slightly wider foot.

These shoes are very cool and comfortable. Miles better than normal Chuck Taylors. Very supportive and quality construction. Highly recommended, specially at 50 bucks, no brainer.

The first pair were size 6 1/2. They were too big. Re-ordered size 6. They fit great. I normally wear size 6 1/2. So I think the size may be larger than expected. Amazon was great and easy on the return of the shoes. I have only had the shoes a week, so I don't have an opinion about the longevity of shoe. I have a pair of VANS that I had to re-glue with SHOE GOO after two months of occasional use.

This is my second pair of platform converse. Luckily I bought my first pair in store and was able to try on first for size. These do run a little bit larger than your Standard converse. I recommend sizing down 1/2 size than you’d normally get.
