The shelf was really good for my son’s dorm room. It was tall enough to reach his bed so he could have his fan and alarm next to the bedside. There is good spacing for 11” fabric boxes. The metal is thinner than I expected, but it is sturdy enough. It was a breeze to set up. No complaints

(UPDATE: 1/26/21: Still happy with both my origami & my conv. concepts. Stock issues are crazy right now & prices are all over the place. Google the name (convenient concepts designs2go foldable shelves) & see what's out there. Staples, home depot, ebay & more. With Origami, it's worth checking out their website cuz they run their own sales & you may get a better color selection. May not get free shipping. Regularly offer 10% off first order, could cover your S&H.) So I know I've reviewed 1 of these elsewhere, but I love this product & it's a few months later, so here goes. I have 10 of these now, mostly towers, like this one, plus the 3 tier wide one. (I went with the "steps" affect, as shown in the product images, in my living room). The wide one I put over the cat box, having secured the bottom shelf (now it's a 2 tier) leaving plenty of room for my large kitty to do her business. & I no longer keep inadvertently kicking the cat box, sending litter flying. I have white units in the kitchen & bathroom, which looks charming. I have black in the living room, which looks more sophisticated. I've read complaints about them not being sturdy. Mine have all arrived in perfect condition, & I haven't put anything very heavy on them. (Put something heavy on the bottom shelf, though. That makes it more stable.) Plus I don't have any children to abuse them, & my dog & cat leave them alone. They seem sturdy enough for something so lightweight, which is part of the attraction! If they're a little delicate looking. Keep in mind, because it always bears repeating, that if you have young children, shelving units should be secured to the walls anyway. It's just too tempting for a toddler to use one of these to pull themselves upright, for example, & end up pulling it over on top of themselves, with all its contents. Little ones have ended up in the emergency room (as have pets, apparently. ) I also have some Origami brand shelves, which are also foldable & certainly more durable. They come with optional wheels, & are not always any more expensive. Pay attention to dimensions. Especially the tower units. You're likely to end up saying "they're smaller than I thought!" That can also be a positive, but if you want bigger, go with another brand, like origami. These really are perfect for the bathroom, where you probably won't be putting anything heavy on them, like books or Instapots! ... show more

These are my second purchase. I use them for my booth for vending events and markets. They are incredibly convenient for transporting since they are lightweight, they fold up and take up minimal space. The square footprint is nice for minimizing booth space without losing merchandising space. The feet are adjustable for uneven ground and can easily be secured if needed. I bought this recent pair to match the color of my branding. I will say that the "Seafoam" color is more of a Baby Blue. It doesn't have much of a tint of green like I was hoping for. However they will be pretty easy for me to spray paint in my color. ... show more

Would love for them to make this concept in other sizes, as this one is just a hair too deep for the space I had for it. I bought this as display at craft fairs. It holds a lot and does a great job for displaying items. Its stability depends on the flooring more than the item. I used it on black top and it was fine, but if you've got an uneven floor, it will rock, obviously.
