I am so much happier with this bookcase than I expected to be. It's very sturdy and was pretty easy to put together. The directions were clear but a few steps require that you really pay attention. There is a lot to each step and it's easy to misread something. There are a few minor things that drag it down. The bottom of the shelf isn't super sturdy so I wouldn't feel comfortable putting anything heavy inside of it. Removing the stickers removed the paint on the back of the drawer but it's not visible so it wasn't a big deal. I had to soak the other stickers in a remover to get them off without damaging the color. Other than that, I love this shelf and it's exactly what I wanted. ... show more

Very disappointed in this product. My husband and I had our hearts set on this piece as we wanted something with drawer and shelf space. While assembling the first few pieces (on carpet, mind you) my husband lifted piece A (X pattern) and the material broke right in half. Was not salvageable. Paint was defective on edges. Instructions are not very good, nor are the 3D pictures. We considered getting the smaller version, the 3-tier by eHomes, but the product seems to be similar and we do not want to risk the same issue again with a different company name. ... show more

I can not believe how bad this bookshelf stinks. The chemical smell is so horrendous that I had to place all the pieces on my back deck in hopes that the smell will fade long enough to build it. If the chemical smell evaporates and I am able to build it and keep it in the house I will update my review. I am shocked no one else has mentioned the smell. As you can see we turned this shelving unit into a mini bar. It fit absolutely perfect next to the Wife's China Cabinet of our dining area of our kitchen. The shelving unit itself was easy to assemble and it was quite sturdy than I anticipated. The drawer in the middle was a great added plus. The media could not be loaded. Its so confusing to assemble the booklet thats comes with it doesnt really make sense, I took it apart maybe like 6 times. The wood gets scratched easily mind you I was assembling it on a rug because i was afraid of it getting scratched... for the price it would have been better to say maybe 50 to 60 dollars its not that great for 130 dollars. ... show more

I actually use this in my kitchen to hold small appliances that I didn't want cluttering up my counter tops. It is very sturdy and works well for what I am using it for. Just for your information. The drawer area looks like two small drawers, but is actually one large one. This actually worked out well for me. I store loose recipes in it. It looks beautiful in my kitchen and I love it! It was a little difficult to put together, slightly confusing instructions/illustrations. I have put together tons of pieces of furniture so I am pretty adept at it. Nice bookshelf but AWEFUL customer service. Was delivered with the drawer bottom broken. When I called and emailed the customer service teams, NO ONE responded. It was too big-bulky to repack to return so we had to improvise on a fix for the draw bottom.
