This was purchased to review a roof and gutter to see what damage crows caused. It performed very well for that task. The camera quality is what you would expect for a $130 drone. Sometimes the quality is there and other times everything is a blog. You could never reliably fly using solely the video image. I used to build drones from scratch and this drone did a good job with returning to its GPS home and flying around obstacles. My son and I flew it in a park field and while it was no racer it was easy to control. When it got too far away to see its heading we just hit the return to home button. To whom it concerns …. My daughters bought me this drone for Xmas. Never owned one, never flew one. Truly a beginner. Took this unit to camp this weekend to test it out. Easy to fly, easy to film.
