  • Twin is not 38” as advertised!
Size: Twin Style: Regular
Feeling dumb! I read the reviews and still thought - Well, maybe they will be the right width now that people have brought the issue to their attention. This twin size product is advertised at being 38” wide but the manufacturer has a faulty tape measure and they are almost 39”. As you can see in the photo, I will have the displeasure of cutting the 2 sets of boards down to the real 38” to fit them on the twin bunk beds. Don’t buy the twin size unless you are prepared to cut the boards to the correct size or return them. ... show more

  • Does the job and does it well.
I'm a big guy, so I was concerned that it wouldn't hold up to my weight, but several months on and aside from some initial creaks, hadn't buckled, cracked, or broken in any way shape or form.

  • Excellent
Size: Twin Style: Regular
I bought this for my granddaughter's twin bed. After reading several of the reviews, I was a bit leery about purchasing these. I'm glad that I did. Don't listen to the bad reviews. I was well aware that I would have to cut them down about an inch in order for them to fit the frame. They came tightly stacked and strapped so I left them strapped together and cut the whole stack on my chop saw with one stroke. It took me about five minutes and that was just because I had to dig out my chop saw. These are very sturdy with no knot holes in the wood, and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend these for a twin or a full size bed. ... show more

  • Great fit!
Size: Twin Style: Regular
Bought to replace slats on 11 y/o daughters bed as she broke the other ones by jumping. Quality seems like the manufacturer ones, I just went to Home Depot and got some thin boards, cut to size, and placed over the slats for even pressure.

  • All the reviews are correct -These are the wrong size
Size: Twin Style: Regular
Honestly, I cannot remember why I purchased these after reading the reviews. Maybe because it was cheap. Anyway, I opened them up and they are indeed 39" wide. A standard twin frame is 38" wide. Sure, a twin frame/bed is often advertised as being 39", but its not. Its 38" of usable width. At first I thought I put the frame together wrong. Nope, those are fairly foolproof. I tried 3 different metal frames bought at very different places and times in history. All 38" across. Then I thought, oh this must be a European/American translation issue. Nope, the box they came in said they were shipped from Pennsylvania! Anyway, they are small slats, so it was easy enough to chop 1.5" off each board using a handheld battery powered circular saw and a little sandpaper. The slats then fit fine and were sturdy. And since they were cheap, I'm not that upset about it. Makes no sense we should all have to do extra work on a manufacturer defect though. Also, take note that the seller never responds to feedback showing they have no pride in their work. Lesson learned. ... show more

  • Well made, though I had to return it
Size: Twin Style: Regular
I was impressed with the product for the price, though I had to return it since the twin size (width 39") didn't fit for the IKEA twin bed I have (38"). Very sturdy. Just make sure you are not like me and make sure the product is the right size before you order.

  • Fits twin frame perfectly
Size: Twin Style: Regular
Our vintage twin bed frame measures 75” long and 39” wide. This bunkie board fits perfectly. Feels sturdy and the mattress sits nicely on top.

I mean it did the job I was looking 😂😂😂😂 Now my son doesn’t have worry about falling through his bed. His mattress does the rest of the work so he’s happy 😂😂😂😂😂😂
