Description

The advantages of the Continental Unitube system. Multi-size tubes allow greater compatibility with more tire sizes, and fewer tubes. Unitubes are available in both Schrader and Presta valve tubes. Presta valves are available in a variety of lengths. All tubes are seamless and mold-cured (vulcanized) to ensure uniform roundness and improved reliability at the valve stem. Each and every tube passes a stringent 100% quality control inspection.

I use Continental/General brand tires & tubes in commercial equipment & my cars. I was surprised to see bicycle tubes! I ordered one for my two wheeled wheel barrel. The valve stem is just like a motorcycle tube. Steel stem with a Lock Nut to hold it in rim. Very good Qaulity! I will be buying more of these! ... show more

One of the few inner tubes with Schrader valve that has a lock nut (also called lock ring) that secures the fully threaded valve stem to the rim. This feature makes it easy to attach an air chuck to the valve stem without the valve stem disappearing into the rim/tire. Schwalbe is the other brand with this feature. Normally Presta valves come with a lock nut but Schrader valves do not. Went on very easily on our kids 20" BMX bike with 57-406 tires. Works well so far. Seems to be made of thick rubber and manufactured with minimal/no seams per Continental's unitube process. ... show more

Love the all metal stem and the small ring fastener that keeps the valve stem tight to the rim making a low tire super easy to fill. Will look for this feature on all tube purchases because of how convenient it is!!

I really like these continental tubes with the threaded valve stem and lock nut. I use the same ones on my mountain bike. Always been satisfied. Would recommend.

I bought two of these tubes to replace my factory 2015 Giant Talon 1 tubes. I really expected them to outlast my original tubes but I was later disappointed in the quality. A week after installing them, the rear tube cracked along a "molding seam" which subsequently led to a flat tire. The crack was along the inner area of the tube which comes in contact with the rim. I patched up the crack and re-installed it. The following day I had another flat rear tire. I removed the tube to repair it and noted more of the same cracks in the same general areas! I did a thorough check of my rims and noted nothing that could have caused the cracks. I never had this problem with my original tubes. I never over inflate my tubes and keep the pressure well within specifications. I finally gave up on these tubes and purchased some heavy duty thorn proof tubes. Going with a heavier duty tube makes sense to me since my usual ride is usually 16 to 17 miles. So far so good. Buy at your own risk. ... show more

Very good tube with retainer screw for schraeder valve. Do not buy 1.9-2.2 wide tube for BMX, it will blow. Buy this one.
