So I bought this cup when I started the keto diet. I needed a cup that I could use for my keto coffee on my drive in. For those that aren't familiar, keto coffee is a combination of coffee, MCT oil, and some sort of high fat cream. The typical ingredient is butter, whipped, but "blah." I use heavy cream instead. I needed a cup with a good seal so I can shake it occasionally to mix the ingredients before a sip. Anyway, I'm on my third week with the cup. A couple observations. I haven't experienced the leaking seal problem some of the others have described. Because I'm shaking it on a regular basis as opposed to just occasionally, take that for what it's worth. The cup holds nearly two full cups of coffee. Another plus. Now for the big one. Heat (and cold) retention. I pour a hot cup of coffee from the coffee maker one morning, put the cup on the dining room table, then forgot about it. Four hours later I came across it. The coffee lost just a touch of heat but it was still surprisingly hot. A word of warning. Don't pour a really hot cup of coffee and expect it to be cooled off an hour later. You're going to burn your mouth. I've had similar results with drinks on ice. A couple hours later, still surprisingly cold with much of the ice intact. Color me impressed. Based on my experiences so far, I highly recommend this cup. If you're looking for a cup that doubles as a thermos, you can't go wrong with this one.

Pros: Perfect size at 20oz, keeps my coffee hot for over 4 hours and warm thereafter. Super cute chalkboard design, love the matte black. Easy to hold and fits in any standard car cup holder and easy to hold for more petite hands. Kinda-Cons: Lid can be tedious to clean - however, not a complaint because it's doing what it needs to do to be spill proof and I appreciate that feature. Comes with the territory that it would be a bit of a pain to clean. I do like the lid design more than any other thermos I've had thus far from other brands. It would be nice if the actual opening where the drink comes out was a tiny bit bigger... you can only get a little sip at a time. But this is not a deal breaker and I suppose it's for safety since the liquid is presumed to be hot. Really do love this cup, it's become my little sidekick for getting through my graveyard shifts. Would 100% recommend!!

This is the best coffee travel thermos you’ll ever find. You should get one ASAP because thIs particular design is not that easy to find anymore. The Contigo website frequently runs out of stock on these. It is fashionable, very functional and durable. It’s tall, slim design is pretty and easy to hold and it fits well in car cup holders. I have dropped it several times and The lid remained secure and not one drop leaked out, unlike many others I have bought. I actually put it in my purse standing up just for a minute and forgot it all about it. About four hours or so later, I found it lying sideways in my purse. Not one leak and coffee was still hot. The twist seal lid is easy to clean, just untwist and pop the tab inside. A little detergent and soft-bristle bottle cleaner removes all coffee buildup. Only after many many times dropping my mug did the cap finally crack. Amazingly, it’s still usable and still does not leak despite the crack! I’ve seen complaints that it doesn’t allow a lot of coffee to come out at one time. This is true. However that is a good thing so that you don’t burn yourself, especially if you happen to be driving. But if the cap is in correctly, a drinkqblwvamount does come out rather than just drops. One note on this that I hope helps: Please make sure the inside tab is snapped completely shut before twisting the cap back on. This may be the source of only “drops” or “dribbles” complaints. I’ve bought several of these for my home and several for gifts. Everyone who has received them has nothing but good things to say about the gift. Love this thermos ❤️❤️

This mug is wonderful, it is 100% leakproof and keeps drinks hot or cold for a long time. Would have given 5 stars but the lid breaks too easily. We have had 2 of these and the lid broke the same exact way and in the same spot twice. Overall a good buy and would recommend it.

I love this travel mug! First off, I'm already a fan of Contigo. They make great quality mugs that keep my drinks hot for a very long time. What takes it over the top on this one is the graphic that reads, "All You Need Is Coffee." Very classy looking design and it all looks as if it was done in chalk on a chalk board. I love it!
