It comes with everything you need to install. It takes little time to install with the QUALITY screws that drill metal while you turn them with an electric nutdriver. I drilled pilot holes first. Most screws I get from China are too soft to even keep their heads from twisting off. Not these.

Ok quality roof brackets. Price is a little high.

Please see my disclaimer for Vine provided items at the end of this review. These container brackets are a quick way to add some lumber for an over-roof or other expansions. Quality of the brackets seems ok. Good thickness of metal for the application. Black finish was decent on all of the brackets I received. Some of the brackets did not quite fit on the container. The fit was very tight, and required hammering to get them into place. That cause the bottom edge that sits on the top of the container to cut through the paint on the container. This will require touch-up to keep from creating rust points. The tight fit may be more of an issue with the container than with the brackets. But I can say there was some variance between all the brackets. Value wise this set is more expensive than some other 22pcs bracket kits available. Many of which look identical to these. And in general the price for such simple folded steel pieces seems a bit high. I would urge buyers to do a bit of research on available options before purchasing. These brackets make adding a roof or deck to the top of a shipping container so much easier than we had initially expected. It's still not what I'd call easy, but we didn't have to pull out the welder to build a platform on top of our container. The brackets are well made and look and feel sturdy enough to last. The price is definitely high, but these are designed to save time and labor, and they pull that off easily. These brackets helped us make a container at the back edge of the yard into a platform for a hunting blind in addition to storage. I think they'd be great for helping add a roof and lean-to, also.

Strong, Simple, and Time Saving

These shipping container roof brackets exceeded my expectations. I was a little concerned when I ordered them, wondering whether they would be sturdy enough for a long term project, but after seeing them in person, those concerns disappeared immediately. These brackets are incredibly heavy duty and feel much more substantial than I anticipated. The steel is thick and heavy, and I would not be worried about them bending, warping, or deforming under normal use, even over time. They inspire confidence right out of the box. Another feature that sold me is that they are perfectly sized for standard 2x4 lumber, which makes installation straightforward and eliminates the need for modifications or custom fitting. The pack of 22 brackets is also well suited for building a roof structure over a 20 foot storage container, making project planning easy. If you're looking to add a roof deck over a shipping container for shade, weather protection, or additional storage space, these brackets are a huge time saver compared to fabricating your own mounting solution. I would absolutely purchase these again for a future project without hesitation.

A fast and efficient way to put a lid on it.

These brackets do not come with any kind of rules or guidlenes concerning thier use or how to safely install them. You will need to use your own good judgment for your project. Personally, if installing a flat roof across the top of a shipping container I would not extend the "eaves" to overhang more than 24 inches. These brackets do fit the roof rails of a shipping container perfectly, They are made with adequite thickness steel, and all the bends, welds, and nail holes are professionally assembled. While I do think they are rather expensive, when you consider the amount of time and labor saved to install a roof, I believe they are worth the cost. Even with a fully equiped metal working shop it could take a individual a day or two to build 22 of these brackets at this quality. So, I will give them my Stamp of Approval.

This set of shipping container trusses come organized i multiple small truss groupings β about 11 sets of two β all wrapped in bubble wrap with two separate hardware bags for the screws. Everything arrived in new condition, so no damage or bent sections out of the box. The steel itself feels solid, with thick metal pieces and welds that look clean and consistent when you get a closer look. Nothing flashy about the design, but itβs straightforward and functional once you lay it all out. The instructions include color pictures, though theyβre a bit rough around the edges, so it takes a little attention to follow everything clearly. Fit and alignment look solid overall. The only real downside is the price point β it feels a bit steep compared to what youβd expect, even if itβs still cheaper than some similar options out there.
