These brackets make adding a roof or deck to the top of a shipping container so much easier than we had initially expected. It's still not what I'd call easy, but we didn't have to pull out the welder to build a platform on top of our container. The brackets are well made and look and feel sturdy enough to last. The price is definitely high, but these are designed to save time and labor, and they pull that off easily. These brackets helped us make a container at the back edge of the yard into a platform for a hunting blind in addition to storage. Everything arrived in new condition, so no damage or bent sections out of the box. Nothing flashy about the design, but it’s straightforward and functional once you lay it all out. These brackets do not come with any kind of rules or guidlenes concerning thier use or how to safely install them. You will need to use your own good judgment for your project. Personally, if installing a flat roof across the top of a shipping container I would not extend the "eaves" to overhang more than 24 inches. These brackets do fit the roof rails of a shipping container perfectly, They are made with adequite thickness steel, and all the bends, welds, and nail holes are professionally assembled. While I do think they are rather expensive, when you consider the amount of time and labor saved to install a roof, I believe they are worth the cost. Even with a fully equiped metal working shop it could take a individual a day or two to build 22 of these brackets at this quality. So, I will give them my Stamp of Approval. ... show more
