I knew that with the size options these would definitely not look like they do on the model but I’d say if you have any curves or fat on you they won’t. Not for the ladies with thick thighs. I'm a 14, occasionally 16. I got the XL. These short fit like bike shorts with too much fabric around the waist. rather than the relaxed fit of the photo. They look pretty awful. Might be good on a someone in those same sizes but who doesn't carry weight in their thighs, but I'd say these are not for the thick-legged ladies. Quality is... okay. Since they are cheap short, you are getting, well... cheap shorts. Not the worst quality, but these probably aren't going to last more than one season. ... show more

I really like the fabric on these shorts. They are so soft! The fit seems just a bit small for size, so just something to keep in mind when ordering. The only unfortunate thing about these shorts are that they really ride up when wearing them so if I wear them outside then I am constantly pulling them down to prevent my butt or other parts from falling out. I bought these to wear to a Renaissance festival as kind of a pirate theme during some hot weather. They're very comfortable and I like that they have pockets. They were a little baggy in the upper butt area, but can be worn with multiple things.
