It works like an absolute dream at de pilling everything (sweaters, pillows socks) and it brings fabrics back to life so they look brand new again. It’s not too loud, super reliable, and incredibly easy to use. One thing I especially love is how simple it is to remove the lint when the container gets full. It pops off easily, empties in seconds, and you’re right back to shaving without any mess. You can definitely find fancier fabric shavers out there, but I’ve had so much success with this exact model that I keep coming back to it. My fabric shaver quit as soon as it got cold out and I needed my sweaters. I replaced it with this one and it works perfectly on "pilled" fabrics. It literally made last year's sweaters look brand new. Works especially well on cashmere. This little fabric shaver works like a charm! It seriously takes off every little “ball” from the fabric. I am thrilled it uses 2 AA batteries instead of usb plug in. And the batteries do not come with it so be aware of that. For the price it is amazing. I have paid 3 times this for other ones that didn’t work as well. Oh and it has three depths for different fabrics. Lastly, the little compartment that catches the balls is rather small so you may have to empty it a little more often. ... show more

I use it on furniture, yoga pants, sweaters, and other fabrics that start to pill, and it makes everything look so much better and almost new again. I ordered this fabric shaver instead of other brands because I thought that the brand name would be better quality and that replacement blades might be easier to find later. The design of this thing is awful. It technically works better than the one I bought from temu, but only for a few seconds of very light duty. Fuzz quickly collects around the center of the blades and the screw in the middle, preventing the blades from spinning efficiently. You have to turn it off and take off two layers of guards to get to the blades to clean them. I do appreciate that it is all removable. The little lint catcher fills up by quickly and is shaped in a way that it's very hard to empty. The bottom portion is so narrow that I can't get my small finger in there. I have to use a knife or something instead. The lint catcher barely holds on to the machine and falls off super easily. The shaver takes two AA batteries that are not included. The battery compartment also feels cheap and is difficult to close with the batteries in. It's a press and twist action that has to be aligned properly. Technically, this is a very affordable option if you plan to use it very lightly. It does work well for a short time. I needed this for the inside of some sweatpants and would only get about 1/4 of the way on one leg before I had to take the thing apart to clean it. ... show more

After researching the hell out of these things, I ended up with this one. I was willing to spend much more and buy a “high-end” product, but it turns out there is no such thing as far as I can tell based on customer reviews of other products that cost a lot more. This works really well, is so highly rated in general, and was so inexpensive that I figure if I can get a year out of it, I won’t feel ill-used. It’s not like I’m using it eight hours a day for a business. I like that it runs on AA batteries… I drop a couple rechargeables into it and it goes and goes. If I were to complain about anything, it’s that when you are shaving something really “hairy” like a thick sweater, it works better if you hang the sweater vertically on a hanger. When you shave on a horizontal surface like a table, the bin can fill up with fibers quickly and get in the way of efficient cutting of the blade. Shaving while the sweater is vertical lets the fibers drop into the bin by gravity instead of accumulating. But overall, it works quite well to remove pilling on all kinds of fabrics. ... show more
