I purchased this nifty little desk on sale for only $19.99! Originally, I wanted a desk that I could fold up and put away, but for $20, I couldn’t pass this up. It’s sturdy enough to hold my husband’s giant Mac computer and the HP Envy Printer without feeling crowded. The height is tall enough that my small two-drawer file cabinet on wheels fits below it along with the big shredder (which I moved only to make it easier to feed paper into the shredder’s slot), and the user’s legs with space to move. It was packaged well enough that even though the corner edges of the box were crushed, no harm had occurred to the wood or the metal pieces. I TOOK THE ADVICE OF ANOTHER REVIEWER, who is a few years older than me (in her 60s), and installed ALL OF THE RODS AND LEGS WITH THE LETTERS FACING INWARD. This was very good advice, because making the mistake of placing the finishing touch of the metal decor in the corners inside-out would have looked wrong. (If you buy it, you’ll understand me. 😉) — As always, with any type of DIY flat-pack furniture, I do not and did not tighten the screws completely until I had all screws inserted and partially screwed in. Once I was out of screws and the structure was built, I went through each screw and tightened them in a pattern that I thought would make the legs the most level. — I MADE THE MISTAKE OF OVER-TIGHTENING three of the screws that connect the metal square frame to the wood, and the screws popped through the top of the desk and cracked the wood. Luckily, the worst is at the back and covered by the computer (yes, there is a front & back, which is why installing all letters facing inward was such good advice), and the other two screw pop-throughs aren’t too noticeable. — All of the hardware is well packaged and had dots with their corresponding letter on the piece of paper of poorly written/drawn/pantomimed instructions. — Mixing up the “I” and the “J” screws was easy to do, so double check those before placing them anywhere. — The same “almost senior-aged” person whose advice I followed in regard to keeping the letters facing inward also mentioned she had assembled her desk on a bed. I did that, too (but on the guest room bed, because ~ EWWW~ gross box all the way from Vietnam with gnarly germs and potential hobo spit or snail-slime, plus washing that room’s linens at my leisure is easier than changing my bed after putting furniture together). — To conclude: I’m disabled and put it together rather easily; it’s a nice looking, albeit basic workspace, AND I GOT IT FOR $20! I’m happy! — One star was taken off for the terrible instruction sheet. When will Asian, Southeast Asian/Indian, and other non-native speaking manufacturers realize that spending a few hundred dollars ONCE on a SKILLED COPYWRITER will elevate their image into “A few dollars more but worth it” type of company? ... show more

A Black $20 desk + $20 shipping and this desk seems like it's worth every penny of the $43 I spent. It was quick and easy to assemble and seems pretty sturdy. I got the Vivo clamp on keyboard tray to use with this desk and it clamps on fine when you twist the lower clamps sideways (yellow arrow). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KFQGRQ1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 It looks more like a small table than a desk, but it has enough room underneath for my PC, battery backup and my rolling storage tray. My old desk had too much frame underneath so I couldn't put things underneath it as well as I can with the open design of this one (why I bought it) Plus I can slide my chair under it as well. I'll see how much my Epson Printer makes this desk shake and let you know. So far so good me likey. UPDATE: My Epson Ecotank Printer gives this desk a small shake but I thought it would be much worse so I would say it's acceptable and that's with these casters installed. I absolutely thought for the price it would be cheap in every way quality is top of the line . If I needed not I would but. Very easy to put together open package check all parts place and install with all “ letters” facing in towards the center and done. This was even packaged better than just about every other product I have ordered. Excellent! Thank you for producing such a quality product and leaving it at an affordable price . ... show more

I like it. And as to the gripe that the instructions are bad, they aren't too bad. Plus, unlike the chair I put together last month, the screws are marked correctly. Things to remember when putting together: 1. Only hand tighten til you are sure everything is where it should be. 2. Put the long bars on the table surface first, taking a moment to ensure the "letters" on the bars face the inside, not the outside. 3. Put the legs together next. Again, when you go to put them on the table, the side of each leg with the hole for the brace must match the long bar's hole for the brace. Each leg can only go on one side. I found that out. Heh. After that, it's very easy. I'm almost 60, female, and putting it together by myself, and, with a little head-scratching, was done in about 30 minutes. Tip: Do not put it together on the floor. It is easier on your bed. Plus? You can sit. ... show more

For the price, I honestly had very low expectations for this desk, but I was in desperate need of a work space after having recently moved into a new home. Wow wow wow! First off, it only took 3 days to deliver compared to the 5-7 days that was originally estimated. It was extremely easy to put together (probably 20 min max-but I do recommend following the instructions). Aside from the surprise of 19.99 shipping cost, it was a great buy!!! For $20 I was not expecting much but it seems to be good quality especially for the price. It was a little bigger than I thought it would be (can be a good or bad thing depending on your situation) and assembly was relatively easy. All in all, very happy with this purchase.
