  • Understanding the Table Saw
Good information and good quality book.

  • Excellent Reference
Everything you always wanted to know about table saws. Well written and illustrated. A little dated but still has up-to-date info, including on the SawStop table saws that every serious woodworker seems to use.

  • Wow! Every table saw should include a copy of this book!

  • Excellent book for all users of table saws
I am very new to using a table saw. Definitely a newbie, and know if you do not have any experience with table saws they can be quite dangerous, even for those with experience. My husband was very proficient with tooling and did all of our woodworking projects. I helped, but was very cautious. He passed away very recently and I realized I wanted to be able to do what he had been doing. I bought this book and have found it to be full of info for all users - beginner to experienced. Solid safety advice and instruction for all levels of knowledge all the way through the book. ... show more

  • get and read this BEFORE you have your 'ACCIDENT"... ouch !!!
The guy who wrote this started back when there were NO BOOKS on "HOW TO USE A TABLE SAW THE SAFE AND EFFECTIVE WAY", and he made just about ALL THE ERRORS and MISTAKES there is to make, learning the HARD WAY. READ THIS FIRST, so you don't have to repeat them!!!! Be SAFE, and EFFECTIVE TOO... with a TABLE SAW... !!! ... show more

  • A great deal of information for the new/novice tablesaw owner
There is a wealth of information in this book. Yes, some of it is common sense, but I believe new/prospective saw owners will find this book valuable and perhaps some experienced owners too.

  • Great for beginners
While I didn't find much new to add to my knowledge base, I did find the information to be accurate, well presented and illustrated, as well as a great reference for the new woodworker. I will admit I'm keeping it in my shop library in case I have a brain-fade moment 😉

  • Great book
Great book. While Youtube woodworking videos are a great way to learn, there are time when you need a written reference. This book has helped.
