This is an excellent watchband for the Garmin Descent MK2i. It is a 26mm (large 7.2 -8.2) band and will fit other Garmin models that take this type of snap-on band. It was easy to install (a snap). It fits comfortably, looks great, and appears durable, although time will tell. If the clasp mechanism fails over time, I will update the review. The pros are the great material and color/s, the comfort, the ease of installation/change and wear, and the look, which is great for everyday wear and working out. Cons: none so far. I do recommend this band.

I purchased a Garmin Instinct watch. I loved the watch but was not enthused with the band. After searching a bit, I settled on this band. It's kind of pricey, yes. But, it seems to be a solid band for the money. All of the hardware is made from fairly heavy metal and is finished very well. The band itself is a nice thickness as well. The velcro grabs and holds very well. Overall the fit and finish are great. The quick connects unfortunately won't work to attach them to this watch, just because of the way the watch case is shaped and contoured. That's the only "negative" I have for this thing. It attaches easily, wears comfortably, and makes it easy to put on and take off my watch. Yes, this type of band will absorb sweat. Just use some soap and water to wash it, let it dry out, and it's good to go again. I don't recommend washing the entire watch with soap and water, as some soaps may affect the seals and O-rings on your watch. Most of the time I will wear the watch into the shower, rinse the watch and band with just water, take the watch off and set it aside to dry, and then use my soap to clean up. As I said, it may seem pricey, but it has made my Garmin Instinct,10 times more comfortable to wear throughout my work days.

I’ve been wearing this watchband for a couple of weeks now, and I have no complaints. The watchband seems very durable and comfortable. I like the ease of clipping the band on and off the watch. It can be thrown in washing machine, or I can use toothbrush and soap to easily clean it. When my watchband arrived, I realized I had ordered the wrong clip width. I had ordered 22 mm rather than 18 mm. Problem was easily rectified though. I was able to use my grinder to Shorten the width to what I needed. If this problem occurs for you and you don’t have a grinder, a hand file will suffice. I gave this watchband a four star rather than a five star as I am unsure how durable this watch band will be. If this watchband does prove to be very durable, over a long period of time, I will revise my rating to a five star.
