Compatible with my Brother printer and more economical. You'll need to follow the included instructions to get the Brother printer to recognize that you've replaced the drum. ,(It's not automatic.)

The drum unit installed fine and was recognized by my printer, however the print quality is terrible. There are lines throughout the printed page. I have cleaned the drum with the slider several times and even cleaned the toner cartridge itself. No improvement. The old drum unit still have better print quality than these do. Something to be said for name brand over aftermarket. Will be returning. UPDATE: I installed the second drum that was in the package, which worked fine. I was able to return the one that was not working and the company refunded me for it.

I would give a zero! Product is NOT compatible with Brother Printer MFC-L2720DW as a replacement for Drum Unit DR-730. I bought it and installed it and followed all directions included resetting the drum reset counter. The pages I printed had 1-2 inch vertical black strips on the left and ride sides of the paper. I followed all troubleshooting to clean the drum etc, no luck. Called Brother to help with troubleshooting. Followed their instructions and still awful printing with huge black streaks down each side of page. They said they can’t guarantee quality printing unless all genuine Brother parts. Whoops - realized this cheap $40 - 2 pack is “suppose” to be compatible but it is NOT. I ordered $110 - single drum unit. Received and installed and now pristine printing quality. Don’t buy! You will be sorry.
