I got this compass necklace with a rose flower and stone in the center. It is about the size of a quarter, and has an 18 inch chain with a small extension. The advertisement states that it is sterling silver and it does say S925 on the chain but mine came tarnished and dull. Presentation was not that good. This is a beautiful birthstone necklace. It features a pendant that is about the same diameter as a US quarter. The pendant is in the shape of a compass. There is a lovely set of sparkling stones set within the interior of the pendant that surround a larger stone in the center. All of the stones catch the light brilliantly. This pendant is so elegant. It looks good on me. It doesn't weigh heavy on my neck. Being born in September, I truly like the Sapphire. The stone is actually not that big. But the beautiful silver part of the pendant compliments the stone very well. The silver is shiny. The length of the necklace is good enough for me. It just hangs the pendant about the right size and height. The jewel cleaning cloth is useful to keep the silver clean and shiny.
