    • Decent Set, But Pricey
At the current price of $100 I think this set could have a little more value. You could probably assemble this set of tools buying separately on Amazon at the same amount of money, and have better quality tools. The drivers and pliers are just passable and will likely start to deform/break if used for anything above light duty tasks. Additionally, though there is a bit holder for driving flathead screws with the drill, they don't include a flathead driver, which I believe is a very essential and standard piece of your toolkit. That said, this set provides a lot of value if you're not quite sure what should go in a tool kit, and you don't want to spend the time researching or don't know where to start. It has everything you need to tackle most DIY solutions to home ownership. For someone just starting out and not sure what to get, this is a good blanket solution to most issues you'll come across. As you use the toolkit you could decide what you don't need (and therefore saved money by only getting a cruddy version of the tool), and what you use often and need to upgrade. That learning experience is worthwhile, depending on your use case and current knowledge of the trades. Not the most efficient path in my opinion, but a path nonetheless! The star of this set is obviously the cordless drill, and it performs fairly well. The speed settings are about the same on most other cordless drills in this price point, and the clutch works well. The drill is the one part of the set that is on par with other tool kits in this price range, although for the price it would be nice to have an extra battery. If you need to tackle any medium to heavy projects you will be left sitting and waiting for a charge on the single battery. This is a VERY nice kit to keep on hand if you are on jobsites or ever work with other people. This has become my defacto loaner tool kit. Need to borrow a pair of tongue-and-groove pliers? You're taking the pink ones made with cruddy steel, not my almost vintage set of Channellocks. It discourages most people from wanting to borrow your tools at all. A lifesaver on the jobsite! I don't even bother engraving my name on these tools, they're instantly identifiable from a distance and nobody would want to steal them, anyway. Except maybe to have their own set of loaner tools. For that reason, I love this set! Overall this is not the most efficient, but definitely a decent set of tools for someone just starting to build their collection. It gives you a good idea of what kinds of tools/hardware should be in a standard fix-all kit. I would suggest using this as a stepping stone guide to buying more/better version of the tools/hardware to really round out your toolkit. Missing is definitely some form of hacksaw! And perhaps a PVC cutter, and some files. The adjustable wrench and the pliers can get you by on some tasks but I'd suggest also picking up a set of open-ended and box-ended wrenches. Also, a cheap multimeter will save a lot of electrician calls for diagnosis, just be sure to be safe with it. Happy DIY'ing! ... show more

These useful tools are good for moving into first apartment. Definitely not quality for homeowners to do heavy duty handy works. The bag is quality made and hold everything nicely. I ordered this "pink" tool kit for my wife as a surprise. She absoluting loved it. She uses this for all the different crafts she has going on around the house. The drill is used the most, but I suspect at some point she'll be using everything it came with. The cost is a little pricey for it all, but there are 169 pieces to the kit. The wife loves the fact that if a tool turns up missing, it's be easy to spot. ... show more

My wife says that this little tool set is perfect for all of her in-home projects. It’s got a handful of screwdrivers, Hammer, small drill, a couple, pliers, and a few other things. But, the best part about this tool set is the color. My wife is pretty sure that I won’t be stealing any of her tools and using them outside the house, which makes her happy since she can count on those tools when she needs them. In terms of quality, all of the tools look perfectly adequate for small, in-home projects. She hasn’t used the drill much, but it appears to be a lightweight, light duty drill. I love this tool set! I always have to run out to my husband's garage and dig through his things whenever I need something. Now I have this great set to keep in the house and use whenever I need. It comes with so many tools. The only thing I felt it was missing to be a complete set was a large flat head screwdriver. The drill comes with plenty of screwdriver attachments but a manual one would've been nice to not have to deal with that. The drill works really well. I was able to easily change out the attachments. The bag is a nice quality bag that holds everything included and has space for more. I can't speak to commercial work but this set is great to have for the home! ... show more

This is a good solid basic tool kit for anyone in a house or apartment. Tools are decent quality. The drill works well, though the batter is small. You won't be using it all day to build a deck, but for basic use around the house for the average person, it's just fine. Has good torque for driving in long screws. For the price and quality, this cant be beat. My only issue is I would like a second battery, but haven't found where to get one. ... show more
