I returned this snowshoe because the toe straps are overly non-flexible plastic. I have no doubt that someone who has the time and patience to break them in. The heel strap is military grade and works right out of the box. Perhaps the mfr. will replace the plastic toe straps with the military grade binding strap used in the heel binding. ... show more

I really wanted to like these snowshoes. We could just received a very large snow storm and I wanted to get out and hike. When leaving my house I put on the snow shoes and by the time I got to the driveway the buckles were undone. I re-buckled them and tried again. This went on for 15 minutes and I came home I could not keep them buckled. They did not come with instructions inside the package, but on the Amazon page it showed four small pictures of how to buckle them.. I sent them back. Other than the buckles the snowshoes seem to work OK, but I guess I will have to spend more than $70 to have a snowshoeing experience. ... show more
