This desk was simple to build. Even if you make mistakes as the instructions diagrams arent as clear as the word by word instructions. Its easy to go back a step and fix it. Very sturdy and utilitarian as the shelf is wicked sturdy and useful, it has the power outlets included which is convenient and a great height to fit a filing cabinet underneath or your own custom set of drawers. Honestly setting it up took me an 1 hour and a half . I see all these bad reviews saying it don’t fit . Well I encountered that as well….but a simple fix is not tightening the bolts until the end, duh!!! Honestly baffles me to see all these people complaining. This is a great desk for the price. The desk is everything that I wanted, except my tower is a little tall for it so we had to remove the top shelf. But, outside of that I really love how sturdy it is and how good my computer looks on it. I hate building furniture, it's typically a nightmare and was expecting the same but this was an incredibly easy build. Took less than an hour and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The desk is nice too but I mostly wanted to highlight the building element! My only feedback is that the riser on top of the desk that you're supposed to set a laptop on barely is deep enough to hold a laptop, it feels like with light pressure you could flip the laptop forward but that's fine for a reasonably cheap desk. ... show more
