These are SO thick and work so well. They are very sturdy. I keep one in the car (come in a two pack and needed to put it somewhere for when I take off my shoes when I can get the wife to drive) and the other in my bedroom. No complaints. Would definitely buy again if needed.

This is great aid for us of a "certain age +." I've recently made the change to slip-on shoes to avoid laces and the exertion they require. I'm just not as bendy as I used to be. Actually, I'm just not as "anything" as I used to be, but I digress. It seems the term slip-on is just a suggestion, as I couldn't get my foot in the shoe without getting all jammed up. This device solves all that, without having to contort myself like a supple 20 year old Swedish boy. What a relief! Made of sturdy, solid, stainless steel it can be passed down through the generations and it appears it may be useful for other uses, especially in our coming "hard times."
