So I have a little bit of a duvet obsession. I have a dog, dogs get messy, and it’s way easier to was a duvet vs an entire cal king comforter (also easier to update your style, and I get bored easy). I’m also pretty picky about them. I am so happy with this cover. It quickly became my favorite. It is SO soft and washes so easily. The pattern gives it just enough, without being too much. One thing I love, and others may not, it is thin. Like a sheet, thin. I personally love that. For one, it cuts down the wash/dry time, cause it is so large. My others take what feels like forever. It also doesn’t get all tangled up in the dryer like my bamboo and jersey knit ones do. So major bonus points in my book for that alone haha. Untangling them is the worst to me. The thinness also keeps it lighter layering. I’m a hot sleeper, so I usually avoid most “microfiber” materials because they ALWAYS make me wake up sweaty. Gross. This is breathable enough that I don’t over heat. It also looks so much like linen, but such a velvety texture! I washed and dryed it immediately and it help up perfectly. My dog also hasn’t snagged it yet, and he likes to dig in my blanket before bed if I don’t keep an eye one him. I couldn’t be happier with this set!

I love everything about this duvet cover. First, the value is amazing for the quality. It’s soft, washes up so nicely and comes out of the dryer wrinkle free! It fits my King bed perfectly, including the pillowcases. The button closures are easy to use, and once buttoned up, hangs nicely over the mattress. It’s seems well made, and will last quite awhile, but when needed, I will definitely purchase again!

I liked the pintucking. Liked the neutral cream. The fabric is microfiber. The feel and weight of it reminded me of soft cotton lawn, but not sheer. As it came out of the package, the wrinkles and probably the color reminded me of natural fiber fabric like linen which is part of the charm. It doesn't have the linen texture, but it just said "summer" to me. Being a duvet cover, it will add color, texture, and protection for our comforter, but it won't add weight. The buttons at the bottom are smooth and clear. They buttoned easily and are completely hidden. I noticed that nice feature particularly because I have a dark duvet cover with white buttons that show from the underside. I wish that one was finished as nicely as this one. The inner corners have ties to secure your duvet. The size is 7 inches wider than my comforter. I haven't put it on the bed yet, but if it winds up being a problem, it should be easy enough to run a seam up each side. If I remember, instructions said to steam out the wrinkles instead of ironing. Not looking forward to that job either way (4 stars). But once it's done, it will be beautiful and we'll enjoy a refreshed look on the bed .

This is a very soft and an amazing king size insert. Its very soft and comfortable. I like the color of this insert because it matches my bedroom decor. The quality is excellent and is well made. You will not have any issue washing this, was able to fit into my washer with ease. I like that the insert comes with tie down tabs to place in your duvet. Once I open the air sealed bag there was really no smell but I decided to wash the quilt first. Overall this was a great buy and it was so comfortable that it seem to help me with a good night sleep.
